I' sweating just looking at them...how can those be comfy at the beach?? and I don't think it's about being fat, it's a "wholesome" swimsuit...obviously for some group of religious people who aren't allowed to show any skin. that sucks. |

I agree with this statement except for "comfortable bikini". I have a great figure and no body-shame but Bikinis are just NOT comfortable! Things get caught where they shouldn't, starps rub and as for the whole sun-burn potential *shudder*. I'm actually looking at the burqinis with admiration! |

Kind of funny to read all the comments here. All your ideas about clothing are just social conditioning, you know. You have no problem with people covering themselves up on the street, but at the beach it seems totally weird. What's the difference? It's just what people do. A hundred years ago, swimwear like this would have seemed totally normal. Maybe in another hundred years, the average beach will be nudist. Normal is in the eye of the beholder. |
