hey if you hear the vibrating, then the stop, and over again...it sounds like a typewriter....seriously, the old fashioned kind...where u push the thing back at the end when u make a new paragraph or a new line down... |

Jumping spiders use their legs to communicate courtship interests to potential mates. The miniscule impacts of spider legs tapping against the ground surface are detected by nearby spiders. This “drumming” cadence signals the spider’s reproductive interests. The female detects the low frequency vibrations through her legs. She responds by allowing the male to mount her. |

Anyone that says they hate insects, good for you... spiders aren't insects...Anyone that says they hate bugs, good for you, spiders aren't bugs... Insects have six legs, spiders have 8... bugs is a general term in america but in REALITY, bugs are from the insect order Hemiptera! True bugs include aphids, assassin bugs, whitefly, cicadas etc... This spider was doing a pedipalp signalling dance. I'm not an expert on spiders though... to me this looks like a form of zebra or jumping spider. If you want to see something cool, look up tarantula mating :) |

And, for those of you who think it's fake, IT'S BLOODY NOT! Ok, the table on which the spiders are on has a needle, like a record player. You can see this as the horny little bugger (not a pun)skitters off to the left. His left. Now, this needle picks up vibrations, again, much like a record player. Then the vibrations are put into an amp, and you have spider phone sex. Ok? Ok. |
