first off, for those of you complaining about the camera work... theres no camera involved. he uses a program called cam studio, its just a screen capture thing. and if you liked this one you should search jimmyrcom on youtube and watch some of his other videos. some of them are ridiculously over my head but interesting none the less |

When i did it with winrar, i found a much easier way of viewing the files. simply right click on the 'secret' image file and select 'open with' then select winrar from the list and press ok, it will open a winrar window with all your files there. you can then extract them or open them or whatever you want to do.there is however a problem with this system. if you hide too many files within one picture file, its size will go up far too much and you will end up with an image file that is about 10mb. |

You could use this to make an image of a thumbnail gallery and then zip the gallery of images into the thumbnail. |

Ok, for those winrar users out there. The way to decompress the files in the picture is a bit more complicated (and way too much of a hassle), but if you really want to know, I've figured it out. Anyway. Once you've complete the steps in the video, open winrar and browse to the new picture. Right-click the picture from inside winrar and select repair archive. Select the file type you put into the picture (.rar or .zip) and hit OK. A window will pop up saying "The archive header is corrupt. Mark the archive as solid?" It doesn't matter what you hit. After that, finish the process and go back to the main winrar window. Right-click the new image and hit "Extract without confirmation". This will extract the hidden file into the folder where you have the rebuilt image. There you have it. A fairly-well detailed tutorial that explained just as much as the video, but without all the motion sickness. You're welcome. |
