maybe we are not in reality. it is all a simulation controlled by someone or something. (somewhat like the matrix) humans still dunno a lot about physics. if we were more evolved, we would know this already |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 3:04:34 AM And apparently the name of the show is "dr. quantum" or something similar, there was another clip a long way back from the same show about the second dimension, if you can find it. |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 3:02:13 AM hmm..Thanks, Disembo! I'll have to take a look at that.Kinda makes you wonder just how much we don't understand, doesn't it? |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 3:00:08 AM For anyone interested, there is a movie my physics teacher showed us called "What the Bleep Do We Know". It talks about observer created realities and this sort of stuff. It used to be on google video and it looks like parts are still on youtube. Its a good watch. |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 2:51:00 AM ^^there indeed is, but you can't really see it; since it would change the moment you look at it :DReally makes one think... when someone tells you not to look, would the course of history have remained the same if you actually looked/not looked? |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 2:47:59 AM This is probably one of the more interesting things I've seen on here in awhile...Maybe we just perceive it as two bands when we're observing it because we can't fathom existing in 2 places and existing and not existing at the same moment... |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 2:45:03 AM ok, the science geek inside of me is going into overdrive. I love thinking about this sort of stuff, evenen though I'm only 17. IT's amazing to think that while we think we tknow about our world, in reality, our brains cannot even comprehend the things we see on the surface. And there's still so much to see! |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 2:30:19 AM Basically what's up is that you can either tell the position of an electron, or its direction of travel, but not both at once, so, effectively, if you can locate the electron, good for you, but you can't do anything with it because finding it changed its path. Even without this, electrons are freaky as hell. Ever heard or quantum tunneling? |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 2:27:41 AM That's just weird. Not surprising though, because Humanity probably has not even scratched the surface of physics. Just like multiple dimensions...sure it seems stupid, but there have been experiments done that suggest they actually exist. Most of what we consider science fiction is probably reality. |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 2:19:20 AM It's like the presence of an observer forces the electron to make up its mind and be in only one place at any given moment, when, without an observer, the electron is in many different possible locations at any given moment and, therefore, acts like a wave. So, simply by observing, we change the way our world acts. |

Sunday, July 29, 2007 2:16:29 AM So according to this, if a tree falls in the forest, and nothing is around to hear it. It can do whatever the hell it wants because no one is watching. !!! This proves god doesnt exist, unless he's some sort of exception to this law. ARGH IM FREAKING OUT |
