Tuesday, July 10, 2007 10:35:59 PM "That wasn't hard to understand at all. Of course not everyone has the job I do, and I wouldn't expect everyone to get that.Sounds interesting, I'm going to have to look into it a little more. It may save me a lot of time and work." Haha. You douche. I knew somebody would come along and spout some crap like this. |

Tuesday, July 10, 2007 9:20:21 PM This video was really produced by Rockwell Automationand it’s a goof based on an old electrical engineer in-joke known as the "Turbo-Encabulator". |

Tuesday, July 10, 2007 7:43:07 PM I actually know what that is. Some of it was a joke but the equipment and basic "jiberish" was correct. They are also used in tandem with VFD (Variable Frequency Drives). This allows equipment to start up and stop gradually without using sudden bursts of electricity and torque. Also it is connected to an automated computer system called SCADA which allows the user to monitor their equipment in real time while the SCADA program runs them. You can also switch from an auto mode to hand mode where you then can take over the equipment "old school" style and run the machines like in the days before automation. I know, it's mad boring, but now you know. And knowing is half the battle, Yo Joe!

Tuesday, July 10, 2007 7:42:36 PM o_O Err...Nice job on that though, it must have taken a long time to come up with all those words... You can tell he's not a real salesman though. Real salesmen would have just said what it did instead of spending five minutes describing the components. The consumers don't give a sh*t what's in it as long as it works well. :] Even total technogeeks who might have looked at it and had a joygasm from heaven wouldn't be able to sit through all that babble. It's not worth the pain! D: |
