6'0, 265 I'm obese! BUT my doctor told me I'm big-boned, and a lot of me is muscle... so the government is WRONG! The doctor says I'm 10 pounds overweight as far as FAT goes.... |

im 5'0 and 103 pounds. im on the 2nd to last bar of government approved. this is why so many people have eating disorders. they are not "government approved" or their own image of self approved but oh well. i dont care. fake test anyway. a real test ask like your age waist line, percent body fat and stuff like that. i took one before |

Government Approved, apparently - 6'2" and 184 lb.
Although as we all know, BMI is rubbish as it doesn't take into account muscle tone at all. |

im a little over weight, im just a big guy tho. wide shouldes and what not. almost every teacher in high school either asked me if i was on the football teem or tried to get me to join it... anyways according to that i would have to starve to death befor i was government approved. win i was thinking of joining the army the recruiter i talked to said right away that i could ignore the weight requirements based on height cause its not possible for me to meet them and be healthy. |

Heh, I'm underweight, apparently. But it's true, I have little to no body fat. And I have no upper body strength. XD Yeah.. I come from a line of skinny peeps. 5' square and 88 pounds. |

lol put 0 ft. 0 in. then put any weight besides 0 or a negative # and it'll say your BMI is infinite. Put a negative number in and it says your BMI is -infinite. |

I have no problem with the fact that I am overweight. I know I am. I know I also need to slim down to be healthier. The idea that I am "obese" is just off... because I'm not. I think the government changed the standards because of the rise of truly obese people climbing higher and higher...

6'2" and 154 lbs is approved. Skin and bones. Lol. I think a lot of people are used to seeing people that are a bit overweight and its so commonplace that people dont notice it anymore. But even so, BMI tests are a load of crap. They don't factor in body fat percentage or how you are built, or how much muscle you have or anything. And, there's nothing wrong with being mildly overweight as long as you are healthy. |
