I'm completely with her. When something minor happens to a celebrity, it's everywhere when there are bigger issues taking place.

All celebrity news and shows of that sort are nothing but a distraction, a distraction from the real news. Thousands of innocents are dying in Iraq, while hundreds die each day in Darfur and many other regions of Africa. Millions around the world are starving, and living in extreme poverty. But of course news like "PARIS HILTON OUT OF JAIL" is far more important than millions dying from something that can be stopped.Chances are that nobody will read this, but hell at least I feel better now. |

F*ck Paris Hilton (or stay away if you're afraid of crabs). The more people talk about her, the more attention she's getting. So she was sent to jail and was finally let out after she droved intoxicated one day. Lots of people do. The fact that this this link has gotten so many comments proves that she's succeeded in getting her name and face out to the world. I'm ashamed that I know who she is, but I have to agree with almost everyone else here. That lady is awesome! |

I really appreciate what she stands for but I wish she had done it in a slightly more dignified manner - she didn't yell or anything but her overall demeanor could have been a little more professional. Either way, thank god someone said something. |

-The WAR in Iraq and Afghanistan There's a list of things you can get some news on. But, once you just "get it out of the way" then you can report something on Paris Hilton. Once you get the deaths of our soldiers "out of the way."
