Arghbeast:Oookkk! And if you think that's weird you should watch this Flintstones Winston add. I'm gessing in those days a good citizen would start to smoke by the age 4! I can just ear those voices asking "Daddy can i have a bong for christmas?" followed in teen years by "Dad i need a lung!"
that add isnt really THAT weird. Considering the flintstones in that time was an adult based cartoon, like the simpsons. This add would be the same as a beer add using homer simpson. We can all probly imagine that.

Well you have to remember that they are just saying what brand they smoke the most, this during when the effects of smoking weren't as clearly outlined as they are today. Doctors smoked camel the most back then, and I can see them putting that as a commercial. |

I stopped smoking about a month ago, but I used to only smoke menthols. Salem Slim Lights 100's, to be exact. Anyway, I noticed the early posts where people werer talking about if you smoke menthols, it helps with colds. In the 13 years of me smoking menthols, I think I was sick maybe twice. |

Don't think you're doing anyone a favor by telling them cigarettes are bad for them. I bet they couldn't tell by the sin taxes placed on them, or the warning labels (some with pictures even), or those really pathetic "truth" commercials.
