Thursday, June 14, 2007 6:49:06 PM "Where's Finland?.." Heh. Upon seeing the list, I thought there probably will be at least one angry Finn in the comments section. The most recent statistics I found say that we consume 10.3 litres per capita annually. That would mean we're somewhere between France and Australia. |

Thursday, June 14, 2007 4:21:56 PM I don't know if anyone's said this already, but as far as I know, Luxembourg is the richest country in the world per capita. |

Thursday, June 14, 2007 2:54:17 PM No pride to be found for the country wich is highest. But that knows anyone with half a braincell. Still never expected that from Luxemburg, never heard of them being big drinkers. I would expect something like germany, Greath Britain or Ireland at the top. Still pretty interresting. |

Thursday, June 14, 2007 1:37:18 PM Where's Finland? We have the tendency to drink booze like there's no tomorrow and we're not even in the goddamn list?!? Maybe it's because of the high suicide stats... we kill ourselves before they are able to summarize our alcohol consumption. Go Finlandia! |

Thursday, June 14, 2007 1:50:28 AM On the first place, difining which is the richest nation in the world isn't just to talk about the income per capita; the GDP is the way to know how "rich" or wealthy is a nation and the nation highest GDP (we like it or not) is the US. I highly doubt that Ireland has become the nation with the highest income per capita, the diference with Luxembourg was huge (almost double) |
