Thursday, June 07, 2007 5:51:36 PM *sigh*, some people just don't seem to understand humor, the reason it's funny is because they keep repeating the same thing. this stresses the fact that they don't understand such a simple concept as don't spend money you don't have, which seems to be a big problem with about %80 of people in the world.and spitebaby, there is no way people would be able to live "fine" without money, unless of course you were willing to move to africa and live with one of those hunter and gatherers, they seem to live fine. the thing is that the world and the economy has grown so large and complex that no one person or family could possibly perform all the tasks needed to live comfortably, we need money to pay other people to perform the services that we are unable to do and vice versa |

Thursday, June 07, 2007 5:29:29 PM How to make a modern skit:1. Come up with a good premise. Use this premise to create a vaguely amusing punchline. 2. Create a lead in to the punchline--the shorter the better. As soon as possible, insert the punchline. Then repeat this punchline over and over again until the skit ends: to encourage proper audience response, the punchline should get louder and more obnoxious every time it is said. 3. "Hilarity" points are assigned based on the number of times you manage to say the same thing over and over again before the audience stops laughing and boos you offstage. 4. For extra bonus points, make this skit part of a series, and air "new" versions of the same skit every six months, or whenever you run out of ideas. Sigh...it *could* have been funny, y'know... |

Thursday, June 07, 2007 3:24:13 PM I do not even care right now. People would be completely fine without money. And the fact that you've just tried to justify money with an RPG game, Kyur, makes me laugh. P.S I've watched this clip so many times and I laugh so hard each time... |

Thursday, June 07, 2007 2:40:02 PM Also paper money only hold power because the government says it does. That is out type of currency. It use to be backed up by silver but then people traded for the silver and when the money dropped down would sell it and wait for money to raise. Yay for economics. |

Thursday, June 07, 2007 2:38:41 PM Spitebaby "How about we all do our own work and make what we need? It's called surviving... People have done it before then they got lazy..."That's stupid. It's better to specialize. Play an rpg and you would learn that. It applies to real life as well. I would rather work with a team of varying skills then with a bunch of jack of all trades. |

Thursday, June 07, 2007 2:11:14 PM That was so FUNNY!! Classic Steve Martin! I think my favorite part is that its SATYRICAL (not spelled right, I know) and meant to be FUNNY and there are those here who are ruffled because they think that its a real book, omg, rotflmfao. |
