Monday, June 04, 2007 8:14:12 PM That is fricken' hilarious! The fact he got off is a credit to the New Zealand police force's sense of humor. What's annoying though, is that the name and adress of the guy isn't obscured, so he'll probably be getting heaps of letters (or worse, visitors) over this. |

Monday, June 04, 2007 7:26:19 PM He's just being a smartass. Cops fill out millions of those things, so what if they accidentally mix up the date of birth and date of offense. And who cars if they got your car model wrong. But I guess being a smartass got him out of a ticket, so good for him. |

Monday, June 04, 2007 5:45:26 PM That was really funny. That reminds me of what happened to my friend. He was driving after dark on a 55mph road. A cop pulls him over and asks if he knew how fast he was going and what the speed limit was. My friend said he was going 55 (he was) and the speed limit was 55. The cop tells him he's wrong; it's 35. So they argue a bit, and then my friend gets out of the car and tells the cop to shine his light on the sign (he was stopped right by one). The cop says he's not going to do that because he knows he's right. Then he threatens to call for backup. My friend says to him that he would seem really stupid calling for backup when my friend hadn't done anything dangerous and it would be worse when he was proven wrong. So finally the cop shines the flashlight on the sign...it says 55. The cop says sorry and tells him to have a good evening, then drives away. lol |

Monday, June 04, 2007 5:14:29 PM Why would anyone bother to comment if they didn't read the whole thing? I mean, what's the point of going through all the trouble just to add "tl;dr"?By the way, I thought this was hilarious and I'm glad he got away with it. |
