I didn't know the water in water balloons actually retains it's shaped when the balloon is popped, but that's pretty cool. |

As a complete technicality, the hydrogen bonds acting in the water hold the surface tension so it stays in it's shape falling, as if it were simply following intertia, the water would be able to spread in a much larger area according to air resistance against the falling water. Good job being a dick to devi, though. |

i'm only finishing 7th/8th grade science but im pretty sure hydrgen had NOTHING to do with keeping the water in that shape cause everything falls at the same speed ... i think the balloon popped so fast from being stretched out (elastic potential energy) that the water all fell out at the same time so it had no reason to change shape. if im wrong any one other than devi3000 may correct me ...she post that bullshi.t all the time i finally got tired of it!"You are my hero sir, I dish out alot of burns, but that was excellent. i totally side with u brett! i will be a freshmen next year and that seemed pretty obvious to me. devi3000 really needs to research more before he says anything, or just not say anything at all, it wouldn't bother me. as for the video it was really cool!! i don't get how the water baloon landed on him if he popped it right next to him though. . . |
