Saturday, April 07, 2007 8:13:18 PM "British humour is more subtle instead of pie in the face like a lot of American humour, but hey feel free to go watch Seinfeld instead if thats your idea of funny." I agree. But when you insult Seinfeld... that's f.ucking blasphemy. |

Saturday, April 07, 2007 5:05:52 PM Look, both nations have melded in to one and humour crosses over. Stupid people will always like stupid comedy. There's enough either side of the Atlantic. This was funny however. |

Saturday, April 07, 2007 7:08:23 AM "i fail to see how some of the skits on monty python are subtle social commentary the skits i have seen have been about dead parrots sheep and a flying nunn" Well maybe you shouldn't start making comments about something you clearly don't know very much about then. If you'd seen more skits, you'd have seen what I'm talking about. Obviously some of them aren't making any profound philosophical statement, people would get bored. And if you think surrealism is stupid you're obviously not getting the point. |

Friday, April 06, 2007 12:16:28 PM I love the one about ghosts. The Look Around You series are hilarious, except the guy they usually show at the beginning really gets on my nerves. |

Friday, April 06, 2007 6:44:08 AM "oh please british humore is far more obviouse than american humor have any of you ever watched monty python? or eddie izzard ?"Surrealism, dear. And most of Monty Python was taking the piss out of the middle and upper classes, making a subtle social statement through comedy. It was actually shown late at night to prevent people watching it and the ideology becoming popular and widespread. It's clever humour, a lot of the broadcasted American comedy isn't. I'm not even going to attempt to comment on your spelling. |
