Tuesday, April 03, 2007 5:08:19 PM I saw the original trilogy back when I was just a kid. Loved those films, even "Return". The new ones however, lacks ... story, script, proper dialogue, direction - the poor actors have nothing to play with. Only Ian Mcdarmid shines, because he hams it up big time. I so wish Lucas had hired an editor and a director. I trust the TV series will suck too. |

Monday, April 02, 2007 10:04:02 PM freak'n sweet, I am a Star Wars fan and always will be, it was revolutionary of its time. Lucasarts has done some pretty cool things, except Jar Jar of course. I want to see more, I also want episodes 7,8,and 9 to be made. |

Monday, April 02, 2007 3:23:04 PM Well, you kind of need a screenplay to make the movie... |

Monday, April 02, 2007 12:31:27 PM Djer, I thought that he had already written the screenplay years before the movies were first produced. I think I saw that in the interviews he did about the original trilogy a few years back. I could be wrong, who knows. As for the purist, I have to agree, I feel that he got wrapped up into the computer generated graphics too much this last time around, and Ja Ja Binks totally ruined the Star Wars Episode 1. OOh well, hey, we are all entitled to our own opinions! |

Sunday, April 01, 2007 9:28:45 PM In fact, he not only wrote the first book, he wrote EVERYTHING. The screenplay, the books...In fact, the books were actually written AFTER the movies came out. |

Sunday, April 01, 2007 7:32:48 PM psst... Star Wars was not based on a book, all the movies have book adaptations, but none of them were based on anything. These pictures reminded me of why I liked Star Wars so much in the first place. |

Sunday, April 01, 2007 6:18:05 PM The movies, in my opinion, were overrated. But I actually read the book for episode one and it was actually interesting. I've never been able to understand why star wars nerds worship George Lucas. He's just a fat guy that decided to make the books into a movie. If you're going to give credit give it to the guy who wrote the books. |

Sunday, April 01, 2007 11:26:18 AM Ha. Compared to Hayden Christensen, Mark Hamill is Sir Laurence Olivier. Look it up.I actually had this portfolio when I was a kid. You could buy the whole set in 8.5x11 prints, it wasn't expensive. Wish I'd kept them. |

Sunday, April 01, 2007 11:09:24 AM His name is Mark Hamill and compared to some of the acting in the newest 3 he's not bad. |

Sunday, April 01, 2007 9:00:06 AM "I'm a purist. Give me my original trilogy without all of George Lucas' newer CGI imaging. That, plus some truly horrible acting, is what ruined episodes 1-3. Way too much use of "let's put MORE CREATURES AND SPACESHIPS INTO EVERY SHOT!" Seriously, sometimes less is more."I think whoever played Luke was the definition of a truly horrible actor. |
