okay, what the f uck is wrong with all you people insulting people that happen to be fat?

a lot of times, it is not their fault, and also, so what if they're a little bigger than some people?

your comments say a lot about you as a person

she's fine with the fact that she's larger and she is perfectly healthy, and those of you insulting her and all that are really just confirming the fact that you are closed-minded bastards who think that just because someone's not your size or smaller, that it is undoubtably because they are lazy or they eat too much or unhealthily.

ever think that it might not be their fault? ya know, metabolism might be slow, something in the family history might cause it, or it might just be how they're built?

seriously... you people sicken me

If it wasn't about the video but about the comments, you should have been more specific, Burushiru. Now that you didn't refer to any comment in particular it can only be assumed you were talking about the video.

why are people so ignorant?how can someone sit there and say "i dislike obese people for their lack of self discipline"....did it ever occur to you that maybe theres a medical reason for it?do you dislike people with cancer because they have a disease? not all "fat" people are fat because they lack self discipline...i was one of them...ive lost over 100lbs?(which i gainbed because of a medical condition)
all im asking is that people think before they speak..you wouldnt think itd be such a hard concept
and no, things arent easier for me...because ive had to work harder then you can imagine to get where i am"

just to tell you, their have been numerous tests done and surveys done, and around 90% of the time, you're fat because you're fat. Maybe your metabolism isn't as great as mine, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't eat less of that McDonalds. also, i've noticed that the majority of girls stick up for her while the guys talk about her being fa

Embracing the fact you are fat is the same as embracing the fact you have an addiction problem. You are fat because you eat and drink alot. That is it. You fatties also inconvience other normal size people on airline and bus seats, the subway, malls, where you walk so slow, and take up the width of 3 people while you waddle to the food court, and elevators, etc. Shut your mouth. for at least 3 months.
And i dont care if you are a vegan or whatever. STOP EATING! your flactulance prob contributes more to global warming than a hummer.

Might as well admit it myself. I'm fat. I'm 155 pounds and I'm only 5" 7'. I'm so happy some people can be confident about their weight, but I can say for sure. I am not one of them. Not so much anymore, but I use to be incredibly ridiculed about it and it has caused me to have very...very low self confidence. I can't stand getting up in the middle of my classes because I feel like people are always watching me and laughing in the inside. I suck in ALL the time..it actually feels weird for me not to suck in now..as weird as that sounds. I know it's my fault. I try to eat healthy, but my Dad tends to buy junk. I never drink soda, only water. That never helps. It's my fault and I wish everyday that I was skinny. So yes, I am happy that some people can be so confident about their weight. I know I'm not. I suppose I just have to work on that...

But those goddamned fatties sure are funny. Chris Farley wouldn't have been nearly as entertaining if he wasn't a coked-up, backflipping fatty.

You know what's hilarious?

In 300 all of the men were half naked

If there had been a movie like that with women instead, it would've been burned to the ground because for some reason, woman can't be sexist, but every man is.

If that were a fat man, I seriously doubt the number of supportive comments would be as high as it is, if even a fraction.

Women are fine with calling men fat but when a man calls a woman fat, it's a goddamn federal offense.

No matter what gender you are, you should not be proud of being overweight. It's not like being black, or being gay, it's like being UNHEALTHY.

Actually, while being overweight is unhealthy. New studies have came out saying that being overweight (Not like..five hundred pounds, but moderately) is actually healthier then being thin, as long as you watch what you stuff in your mouth, and don't sit on your butt all day.

Tiny people have their appeal, just as much as not-so-tiny people do. Be happy with who you are.

She was attractive due to her self confidence. She would have been even more attractive if she had lost a few pounds.

The only thing I dislike in this general subject is people who are fat and are complaining about it. It's like complaining over you're apartment being messy.

I have to agree with her. My sis almost died, many many times, from anorexia and trying to live up to the image that Hollywood puts out. Besides, even if you are one of those "weight bigots", theres quite a difference between weight and body fat percentage.
My sis was healthy and skinny at 145lbs and 5'3". Because of the media and all, she starved herself to under 100lbs and was on life support a couple times. I am skinny and healthy at 220lbs, although I'm 245 right now. A lot of it really is about the parents.

Ok. So.. I didn't read all of the posts before this, but from the first two or so pages, I understood that no one can agree on this, really.

I don't think she's fat. And I really do think it depends on how tall you are/your body shape. See, I'm 5'5" and I weigh around 124 lbs. or so. But... I don't look nearly as skinny as that.

I agree that you shouldn't stop living your life just because you're overweight, and that this woman is at least doing something to motivate overweight people who are scared to live.

As for the issue of being lazy vs. heredity, I think a large number of obese people can't help it. But you have to agree that there is a minority of people who really are just lazy.
This woman seems to work out, though. I mean, she said she swims. She also said she runs. I think some people who watched this missed that point.

I dunno. Overall, I thought this was good. But I can understand both sides of the argument.
=/ Meh.
