I love how people are so concerned about the "fat" people and how the feel, and how they're beautiful too, yadda, yadda, yadda. What about the skinny people? What about the people you're all making fun of, saying they're "bimbos", "skinny bitches", "idiotic"...personally, I find THAT offensive. Because I'm thin (and no, I'm not aneroxic, as many people ASSUME I am) because of my genes, which has come up here many times, I'm going to be called an aneroxic bimbo? I smell a group of hypocrites. |

wow...it is amazing how harsh some people are. why do people hate on fat people so much? They aren't hurting anyone. To me she wasn't fat anyway just a little chubby. People need to calm down on the hateful ignorant not to mention prejudiced remarks. |

I agree with her but i do understand that being fat and unhealthy is NOT ok, if you are fat and have health problems, go loose some weight. Another thing is the amount of ignorance on these boards. Those who call her a fat "bitch" are just mindless media controlled freaks. How do you know shes a bitch, have you met her? The whole idea of the model barbie girl is total BULLSH*IT! in some countries haveing that extra weight is a privalage and the guys would chase you all over. there is a major difference in how people treat you when you are on one side of the scale or the other. eat healthfully and excercise. that's all you can do so be happy qwith yourself and burn the scale if you need to. |

I'm just glad that even a few of these comments aren't insulting. I Am Bored tends to be the bottom of the barrel when it comes to humanity on the internet, and seeing a little bit of common sense here goes a long way on a troll-magnet, insult-attracting website like this.
Anyways, being overweight is unhealthy, plain and simple. If you've legitimately tried to lose weight, but have been unsuccessful, well good for you. You have a slow metabolism, your genes make you store fat in you body, whatever. You've done your best, so all you can do then is eat healthy and excersise, even if you don't lose weight. But honestly, for many many people, food is just as addicting (phsychologically and physically) as cigarrettes. I don't expect ANYBODY that regularly goes to this website to ever understand that, however. If somebody does, great, your not a jerk.
Otherwise, get your head out of your a*s. |

I liked that. It was motivational. I've always held the belief that you should enjoy life regardless of how others see you. I'm glad for her. And hey, I'm fat too. WOAH! OMG! I'm suddenly less human! I must have undergone some sort of transformation into another species! Pfft. I don't like being fat, but it's not making me any less happy. So why change it? I'm not gaining any more weight, and my health is fine.
