Sunday, December 23, 2007 9:24:32 AM I found that the hair added to his conflicted genius/tempermental child molester je ne sais quoi. But thats just me. Excellent playing. |

Sunday, December 23, 2007 3:17:06 AM That was pretty freakin' insane. He even had a rock-ish sound to his violin playing! Shwank. |

Saturday, December 01, 2007 8:27:04 PM spiccato isn't too hard, however i think the technique he's doing has a lot more vertical bounce than spiccato to create the rough percussion effect. so i have to say i'm impressed, the more force you put in the more the bow bounces back, so he really has a lot of control and skill. especially to keep it even and consistent for so long. also, i don't think the he desperately needs a hair cut. he's in a freaking bar playing 80's music. was he supposed to dress up and slick his hair back? it doesn't matter that he looked like a bum or had bad posture, it was okay for the low-key chill situation he was performing in.anyway, i think this is pretty dam good, considering he probably came up with the arrangement himself. it had a lot of character and he utilized lots of unique sounds a string instrument can make to bring it as close to the originals as possible. i think he's great. |

Sunday, September 02, 2007 1:47:28 AM THAT right there made my day. I play viola and I was shocked by how good this guy is. I wonder where he got the music. He could make a fortune just playing on the street with a tin can. That thing would be filled with money faster than you could say "This guy's so good, I'm going to give him a twenty." |

Monday, March 26, 2007 11:26:19 AM okaaaaay, Ravenhaft, you're taking this waaaaay too seriouslyyeah, so his posture needed some work, but so what if he didn't look very put together? he plays well and woohoo, he needs to get a new bow. whats the big deal? its his money, let him ruin a bow for the sake of makin music the way he wants to. if that doesnt work for you, fine. don't listen to him. simple as that |

Saturday, March 24, 2007 11:21:17 PM Mostly I'm impressed at his bow control. Of all the things I'm good at with violin, spiccatto is not one of them, after a measure or two the bouncing starts to escalate until the bow wants to bounce right out of my hand. I was insanely inpressed by him control of the spiccatto during "Smooth Criminal," even if he does have to buy a new bow every month. |

Saturday, March 24, 2007 10:40:55 PM You guys think he is nice [scoff] sure the tune was nice but 1)horrible posture 2)That bow is ruined 3)he looked like a godd*mn bum and 4)The violin's value plummeted as soon as he looked at the noble instrument |
