Saturday, May 05, 2007 11:53:37 PM Being from montana, i know these commercials, they used to be on all the time, but now they aren't on anymore... and they do more than just commercials, they have billboards and displays. There was one with a hook through a person that said "dont get hooked" and had hamburger meat and blood and nasty stuff all over and they MADE THEM TAKE IT DOWN. just because it scared kids.. that's the dratting point of it!! |

Monday, April 23, 2007 8:41:01 PM Well, Ashwey she is prostituting herself for money for METH. You know what would really scare kids? If people went around in "dumpy clothes for a day, and wore EXTREME makeup and looked like they did meth. Then if people stare at you, you tell them "Hey if you do meth this is what you look like, not that I do it's just an act to convince people. Like "experementing" teens that meth is EXTREMELY bad and deadly to you." |

Thursday, March 22, 2007 6:41:02 PM Pretty good commercials. I like 'em. My step dad was a drug addict and and alcoholic and when I was 5-7 I had to go to AA/drug meetings with him and wait on this little couch and these people would give me cookies, and in kindergarten the teacher asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up and I said "An alcoholic!" and the teacher asks, "...Why?!?" I said, "You get to eat cookies all day!"I got put in time out... |

Thursday, March 22, 2007 12:34:54 AM Holy poo I am an Ex Addict and I have been clean now for Almost 3.5 years from meth! I got out of Prison For meth related crimes 1 year 3 months ago. Mother was the one that made my skin crawl! I just called my mom to say sorry! I wish they would start playing stuff like that more often in California. I live in one of the Meth capitals of the U.S. San Bernardino County. I hope more people visit this site before it's too late! Take it from me.. Ex convict, on parole, not allowed to see my own child. 3 felonies 18 misdemeanors. 7 years of my life have been spent inside jails and institution's because of my past 10 years of addiction. I maybe clean today but I live just for today! |

Monday, March 19, 2007 11:12:16 PM I think the commercials are great. I just wish they would make similar commercials for other drugs, and broadcast them nationally. Yall are saying things like "i hate propaganda" Is this really considered propaganda? On Wiki it says Propaganda is a "type of message aimed at influencing the opinions or behavior of people... propaganda can be deliberately misleading, using logical fallacies," Sounds like propaganda is misleading and held in a negative light.....don't these commercials have positive ideals? Why should we be against them? Contrast - I know it is wrong of me to judge by a single post, but it seem you are a very negative person and i feel sorry for you. Oh, and how is this Darwin at work? I don't understand.... |

Monday, March 19, 2007 8:10:08 PM http://www.erowid.orgEDUCATE YOURSELF. A non-biased source of drug FACTS, not propaganda. Meth is a terrible drug, yes, and these commercials seem like they will be an effective method of preventing the "weekend warriors" from giving it a try. |

Monday, March 19, 2007 10:21:14 AM btw, dont do coke either. a friend of mine used to do coke and one time she bought a bag of the stuff but the dealer mixed in crushed bits of glass so it would seem like hes selling more and he would make more money and when she snorted it the glass cut her up real bad on the inside and blood was comin out of her nose and mouth and friggin all over the place it was horrible. they should make that story into an ad it'll scare u more than those meth ones lol |
