Thursday, March 01, 2007 11:58:08 AM thats not really impressive. Just a stupid woman choosing to teach her child presidents instead of colours or numbers or something usefull. You can teach a child anything like that. I mean im sure if you sat down and looked at them for a while you could learn them all too. Genius, i think not |

Thursday, March 01, 2007 11:34:52 AM Time for one very inappropriate joke before a get chucked out of i-a-b?? What do you do when you've had a baby? Pull its nappy up This can go two ways for me now - 1. a lot of abuse at my poor sence of humour or 2. (my preferred option) a follow on of more inappropriate jokes - you decide.

Thursday, March 01, 2007 10:25:08 AM Thats an old old video. I remember seeing it on americas funniest home videos when I was about 12. I'm now 26.What some of you fail to realize is from the day a child is born til they turn three, thats when their ability to learn is incredibly high. Knowing this, I've been teaching my two year old sing language. Not because we know anyone with a hearing disability. Its just useful knowledge. We've been teaching her since she was a few months old and now she can hold almost an entire conversation with signing. |

Thursday, March 01, 2007 9:54:46 AM Im kinda suprised that no one mentioned that the last president in the book was Ronald Reagan... So this baby is anywhere between 26 to 16 now... I would like to know where he is and what happened to him... if hes one of the nerds who sits in the back doing math that anyone else his age would find undo able... |

Thursday, March 01, 2007 9:52:29 AM My bet is this baby grows up getting all the ladies, or maybe he'll become a U.S. president. Sounds like Clinton to me. P.S. felicity57 You could be a model (when you grow up of course) |

Thursday, March 01, 2007 9:39:54 AM This is really, really old. I mean, I think that kid's about my age now.As for the video, as other people have stated, kids that little have amazing memories. Think about all they have to learn... how to speak, to preform different actions such as using different toys, crawling and walking, as well as memorize the names and faces of all the people in their lives. I would think that memorizing people they see in "real life" is harder than from a book. People not in a book do things like change their clothes and hair, and the baby sees them in different enviroments. The presidents in the book were the same every time. ... But that's just what I think. |

Thursday, March 01, 2007 9:26:35 AM Not impressive. I'd say the voice of the baby is about 18 months old (whether or not the baby in the video is making the voice.. all we see is his mouth moving, which very well may be jargon). It's not uncommon for babies at this age to memorize things like this. My guess is, if this video is REAL, the mother sat down with the baby every day, several times a day, repeating their names, until finally the child anticipated the names on his/her own. That doesn't make you a genius, it makes you only observant enough to remember something you hear over and over again.I feel sorry for that baby. |

Thursday, March 01, 2007 8:44:43 AM With all the people who jump on calling repost and how old something is, I'm surprised nobody's said anything about this. From the early days of America's Funniest Home Videos, I believe. Not that I'm complaining. It's still fairly d*mn amazing. :D |

Thursday, March 01, 2007 8:22:38 AM This isn't really amazing to anyone who's been around young children before. from the time they can talk/understand you to around age 5-6, you can make a kid memorize ANYTHING. How do you think they pick up languages so easily? It's the same concept. |
