Started hearing about this a few years back...in fact my go to body mod dude had this done to himself by a fellow piercer/tattoo artist. Looks cool, but I'd never do it. Oooo and about three years back he was tellin me about this "new" mod that was hot overseas and was starting to come out in the States...read through the comments here, and didn't see it mentioned so I did some research and got a link for it so you wouldn't think I was BS'in ya'll. I think if forced to have either my tongue bifurcated or having this done, I'd chose the bifurcation anyday....take a look The "New" body mod craze!! |

I probably buy one thing a month, and they are either a pack of gum, a gift for someone else, or eyeliner/jelly bracelets. Yet I really think this is gross. Humanity has evolved far from mutilating your body such as so, so why act like were in the style of 600AD? And spending money can't kill you by bacterial infection and cause a lot of pain and blood loss. As it says, do your research. This is a very dangerous and (oh my god! An opinion on a forum, freak out!) stupid. If you want to do this to your body, (no one in specific) then go ahead. But I recommend you don't use the simple supplies here, like 'kitchen scissors, or a small knife.' (as stated in the diary) Alien, its ok for you to express your opinions, and no one freaked out on you until after you freaked on them. Cool it, its just opinions. |

It's ridiculous that people are giving instructions to do this sort of thing at home. If you really want to split your tounge in half you should definitely go to a professional rather than risk bleeding to death by your own sloppy work. Soon there will be chop your penis in half at home instructions and half of you will be saying 'It's their choice, respect it'. Not every stupid decision people make deserves respect. Sure they can do whatever they want, but they can't expect people not to have negative opinions about it. People who do that type of poo are attention whores who don't care what sort of attention they get, negative or positive. |

I candidly declare that any person who bifurcates his/her tongue is an absolute moron! The tongue is not meant to be fooled around with! Respect it!
I hate piercings too. Sure the people aren't hurting others, but they're hurting THEMSELVES and that's irrational. (Yes, that's right. I don't have any piercings - including the ears.) |
