Monday, February 12, 2007 1:18:11 PM Hmm on second thought this is fake, if you pause the clip at 2:42 you can see he has blown out one of the candles that would essentially "break" the circuit but the light is still lit. That phony bastard |

Sunday, February 11, 2007 4:56:58 AM There'll be a nail or a lead or something coming out of the back of tha candles to a battery. Notices how whenever anything turns on or off, his hand suspiciously reaches under the table? To a switch. |

Friday, February 09, 2007 3:31:43 AM I thought this was a hoax until I tried it. As soon as I lit the candles, there was a bright light. |

Thursday, February 08, 2007 9:55:55 PM Ok now if this is actually possible why not just use the candle as a light source and save some time. |

Thursday, February 08, 2007 5:29:46 PM I only watched the first half: the light bulb half, but I know it's a fake.for one thing, there's no way that little bit of rubbing would magnetize the nails. I think I know how he does it: do you notice that after he cut to the closeup of him 'magnetizing' the nails, it cuts back? that cut allowed him to swap in a different set of candles: a set of candles that had wires running out the back

Thursday, February 08, 2007 7:40:01 AM It's not a circut. Is it possible that electrons are flying from one candle flame to the other?? F***ing crazy. Can't wait to try it!!

Thursday, February 08, 2007 1:51:57 AM What is happening is the electrical potential exists between the two magnetized terminals due to the magnetized nails. helped by the charged ions movement through the wire, a current flows through the wire from one candle to the next. The charge then takes the form of ions in the air between the candle (not electricity but charged particles of air). An electrical arc is actual electrons not particles that a pushed through the air by a powerful voltage. |

Thursday, February 08, 2007 12:29:17 AM hmm... 2 candles... 2 nails... 2 leads with alligator clips... a magnet... I tried that but I couldn't light the candle without a lighter or matches.... |

Wednesday, February 07, 2007 11:17:00 PM I was half expecting him to get really far into the lightbulb part, and then go, Next, disconnect everything and light the freaking candles, you scientist! |

Wednesday, February 07, 2007 11:15:58 PM Some proof now: take a close look at how far the nails are into the candles before the close up for rubbing the magnets, and then look after. Their embedded positions have changed! Some unnoted manipulation was done to at least one of the candles. Either the person was a weakling and was weaker than a rubbing magnet to push the nails into the candles or he/she did something we don't see. |

Wednesday, February 07, 2007 10:49:25 PM Maybe the guy has current running tru himself and his feet are on the table and hes wearing copper socks. This would also explain the wheezing. |

I just want to note the same thing half of the other commenters have already noted.. that you see how he puts his hands under the tables? That's where the power source is. Yeah... because I don't think anyone can read the posts before this one, and mine is obviously more important because I made this discovery on my own but don't have the respect to read anything anyone else has posted... so I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE. /Sarcasm |

Wednesday, February 07, 2007 10:00:09 PM Candle wax also is a very good insulator to STOP electrical current, it is not going to flow current to the nail even if you plugged the candle into a wall outlet! He never shows the bottom of the candles, so its likely they are hollowed out with batteries and a large contact surface for the nails to touch when they are inserted. |
