Oh, the irony! We were skiing and this was on loop in the hotel. My sister mentioned how she and her boyfriend are so sick of this piece, how boring and cliched... and then I found this today. I hated that song. Violins don't get to play until like 4 minutes of the Bass, then the Cellos, then the Viola intros. It's like classical techno. |

The key makes no difference (unless you have perfect pitch). It's the chord progression he's talking about...but yeah, it's exaggerated: many, many songs share the same underlying chord progressions. A couple of the earlier songs he sang really did sound like total rip-offs, though.
