JALACAOB- I understand cancer has physical evidence, I was just making a point. If somebody is just going to wave something off when they little or no understand of the subject on hand just because, well they don't understand it. Then they might as well apply said logic to all other illness and disorders. I have taken pills (see my post on page 1) but I stopped. I still have to struggle with ADD but I have NEVER used it as an excuse. It just pisses me off that I have to deal with this disorder everyday and yet these people say "it doesn't exist" "you're parents didn't discipline you enough" etc. Which is not the case.
I've had to figure out a way to study, to work and to live differently then everybody else, and it requires a lot of self discipline. I do think kids become too reliant on pills and not reliant enough on ones self. |

Cancer has obvious physical evidence and aside from that, if you want to pull cancer into this then take into consideration the fact that people who believe they can overcome it and think positively about the future more often than not actually survive the life-threatening ones. Others give up and let themselves die or 'expect' to die, they do die. Mind over matter. Again, it's not 100% all the time but there's even more evidence that what we think will affect our physical being- In other words? Docs need to do more than hand out pills to ADD/ADHD diagnosed people and try other methods of control, first: Before they go telling kids and parents that they've got some disease that excuses their behavior. When ALL ELSE FAILS after extended attempts, then maybe I'll consider this ADD/ADHD thing. Same goes for depression. Pills are not the goddamn answer. Pillhappy society where companies HAVE been known to make up reasons to make people think they need to take pills. |

There's no reasoning with me? So you know 1 of the million kids misdiagnosed with ADD so that proves it doesn't exist? What kind of logic is that?! numerous scientific studies conducted by world heath organization among others, have concluded there is no like between sugar and hyperactivity, ADHD or ADD.
And I know what homeopathy is (which you spelled wrong by the way) and yes, it can help but not in all cases.
If you could only spend one day in my head you'd retract you're statements. |

If you people would stop being completely black and white on this and realize that somewhere in my post (if my memory serves me correctly) I said a 'real' case of ADD (and I suppose you could imply ADHD goes with that) is rare, and most the time it's bad parenting. However.. broadening the scope of thought here -most- mental disorders are pretty bunk if you ask me. I was studying parapsychology for a while and I think I'm one little symptom away from being 'able' to be classified as schizo and add, and I do mean 'little' symptom. There 'are' real cases, but they're rare and -severe-. Temper tantrums are not cause to be ADD. It's goddamn self control and discipline needed, not some pill that (as even the ADD people have confirmed) just jacks you over more than when you started. Koala's right. Told you're ill long enough and you'll believe it. Now it 'is' real because you've made it real and there's no overcoming it in your mind. You've closed that door. |

FINALLY I'm sick of people bitching "uh i have ADD it's no fair". Theres just more sugar in foods now a days and parents dont have the balls to smack their kids into shape. And what vidd said I agree with, how smacking kids teaches kids NOT to do something and it will keep society running smooth. |

"Recent Studies" By who? You can find a "recent Study" For Everything, prooving and disprooving. Like Homopathie, Go Look into it, And you will be "Cured" of ADD or ADHD.I was Cured of Dislexia Because of Homopathie. It also helps on Emotional levels, And the best thing is that you don't ahve to take it for the rest of yor life.It is still my beleif, and the beleif of somebody who is quit close to me - who was treated for ADD - But admits she never had it and its all a scam. Somebody who is lied to there entire life, will be eleive that lie to the death, there is no reasonnning with you, like there is no Reasonning with those Christian Turds. ADD -ADHD Doesn't exist, look into Homopathie, thats all I have to say. |
