and here come the conservatives, saying that the dems and gop should act as one....after they lose power. Typical... This war has been being orchestrated far longer than we think, which scares me. I mean, we knew the towers were coming down, didnt we? We funded osama after reagan was elected. For all of you couch patriots out there, who think america is the greatest country in the world, you obviously have low standards for how security should be. Do you actually think the "greatest country" and greatest government in the world wouldnt know poo is going down? You actually think norad wouldnt have done anything about it? Its just scary to think that there may be a bigger plan out there, and the loss of power may have been expected and planned. how can you expect us to have trust in god if we cant even have trust in you.

Chickenman, as has been stated, Saddam was not funding terrorists. He was not an ally to Al-Qaeda... if anything, he was competing with them for power.
And about the war thing, yes, both of them are wars, but not all wars are alike. The American Revolutionary War was, of course, the war that made the US its own country, while civil wars are what tear countries apart. WWII, one of the few wars that I agree should've happened (considering the circumstances), has nothing to do with the war in Iraq. There is a distinct difference between wars. There are wars of religion, wars of oppression... you can't just lump them all into the same pile. That's like fighting for the sake of fighting, and if you're going to do that, I am ashamed of mankind.

Ann Coulter has more balls than most of you MEN in here, without even having to be a transsexual! Baphomet, I think that was the only real clever way anyone has attacked her as of yet; much like Government creates more and more problems so it can stay in business to fix them?

"Saddam was funding terrorists."

My god. Seriously how f*cked up and disillusioned do you have to be to still believe the lies from 3 years ago. Even the Bush administration admitted there was no connection between Al-Qaeda and Saddam, multiple times. So if they can get their heads out their ass, why cant you?

"Saddam was funding terrorists."

No he wasn't. I'd post the entire link for you but can't because of the 40 character limit. Instead, type "Saddam Hussein and al-Qaeda" into Wikipedia and see what you get. Even Israeli intelligence said there was no link between Saddam and Al-Qaeda.

If you ask me, it's a lot more like Vietnam, the one war that many people think we lost.

WWII Is like this because they are both wars.

Saddam was funding terrorists.

Ann Coulter(however you spell her last name, I really don't care) seems really mean to Democrats who have done nothing to her. I think this attack is a little uncalled for. The date is really off in the article..

Ooh! And wit, too?

Anorexic: You're calling her Anorexic? Wow! What an intelligent insult! I wonder what you are going to insult next... The size of her hands? Surely the size of her hands has some kind of correlation to her IQ... Just like her anorexic look, right?

Evil: She's evil, huh? What right do you have to call someone evil for their beliefs? Its her opinion, idiot, and she has a right to voice that opinion, the same as you do. Unless that opinion is inherently retarded (Such as yours).

I wholeheartedly agree. I'm tired of the longshots taken by either side of the party. As far as I know, Liberals and Conservatives both live in the same country, and we should work together towards a better country, and stop hating/disliking others because they have different opinions than you.

Why is it that humans have to be so against people that are different? Believe it or not, conservatives and liberals pretty much "hate" each other because they hold different views.

And one more thing... The "education" (or lack thereof) of some has absolutely no affect on the education or intelligence of others. (Directed to Goaliejerry)

Let people be people and quit letting politics run the country. You have a voice and a vote. So make an educated decision and quit blaming the parties. It's all on your own shoulders. Since when did the country fall to the prey of the parties. I am deeply ashamed for all that follow this dangerous road America is following. I'm Proud to be independent and know that I am voting for what is right, not by which party is the coolest.

I like liberals, but I don't necessarily like Democrats. Why? Look only to goaliejerry. The guy's a nutbag, a loose cannon. Stop running your mouth, gj, and go do something productive.

Vindicate, I'm glad at least one other person has the gumption to voice the obvious.

I'm not sure why religious people feel the need to preserve life - God in the Old Testament had as much a dark side as any human I've ever known.

EDIT: I take that back, religious folks are some of the most hypocritical people I've ever met. They don't mind burning the bejeesus out of those deemed guilty or evil, who may indeed be innocent.

Chickenman, stfu. Noone in here has said "Republicans are stupid"... I believe goaliejerry refered to them as being uneducated. I am sorry if you happen to equate those terms, b/c I do not.

A lot of people in my family are Republican, and I would never say they are stupid people. But I will say that they are ignorant to a lot of the facts, mislead in their political ideology, and intollerant of other beliefs, cultures, and lifestyles.

Aw... if only that were true.

As for the politics, there are intelligent people and dumbasses on both sides of the fence. Actually, the parties don't even stand for what they're supposed to in the realm of governmental practices. The only way to discern between them anymore is the religious wackiness.

For example - reason against gay marriage - the Bible. Reason against abortion - the Bible. Reason against stem cell research (as a blanket) - the Bible again. I'm sensing a trend. The only way either side can win an election is through religious and "moral" means. Take that away and the parties look the same.
