I've seen better sites. Also, funny how Limp Bizkit is under the 'metal' category. Probably just because they didn't have an 'utter s#!t' category. |

Well i use Limewire which works way better but this site is cool if you just want to find out some cool bands.(its hard to sort through all the junk though)
BTW headwound Sonic Youth is really good  |

The RIAA is like a mean little kid with a magnifying glass burning ants. Sure the ants may occasionally be a nuisance, but they don't cause any real harm. If an artist creates music and wants it to be heard, what better way than through the medium of the intranets? Yes, it's hard to make people pay for stuff that is online, but if you put a product out there that is worth buying, people will buy it. In this country, people have a right to be greedy, but all the RIAA is doing by suing people who download music is scaring people away from listening to any new bands that come along. |

I suppose it's a good start...I have two 30 gig external hard drives full of music. Most of it is actually ripped from cd's I bought. (I'm a sucker for liner notes.) |
