fatnhappy: I wouldn't defend South Park if I thought that they were doing something wrong.
Making fun of religion is no big deal, you don't have to hate something for that.
And it doesn't promote horrible destructive behavior anymore than watching Bug Bunny shoot a hunter in the face. As if that doesn't promote horrible, destructive behavior.

Something I do find interesting though is that if someone likes a show they will defend it regardless of what appears in the show. would any of you agree that TV show's are starting to get the same idol worship as the stars.

Forgive me if someone already said dis but i dont want 2 read all of the dumb comments.
People need to just shut up.They r just freaking out for no gud reason. If they really paid attention They arent picking on him. satan himself says it is to soon to make fun.South Park is paying tribute to the guy in thier own wierd way.They didnt really put him in hell. The party was on earth. I wish those idiots wud watch
the whole episode and see wat really is going on.I think the crocodile Hunter wud of loved it! He is probably watching the episode right now and he is probably laughing. P.S South Park is the best cartoon ever!!! |

^ To the first one: Actually, I did see yours after I posted mine, and I felt bad that I said something someone else already said, but I can't be expected to read every single comment on the subject before posting.
And to the second person, I WAS paying attention, and in case you didn't notice, WHILE they were in hell, Ghandi was there. And everyone FROM hell was invited to the party, so one can saftely assume that most of the dead people at the party were people from hell. And if you're not mormon, then you go to hell anyway. So in conclusion, it's not at all weird to say that Steve Irwin went to hell along with Ghandi in the South Park world. |

If the party wasn't in hell, then why are we all crying about it?Oh and yes, South park did do a show that had a 9/11 theme. One about how people like to use tragedy to take advantage of people's emotions to make a quick buck.

I found it mildly annoying that SP did that but that's the kinda crap they do (i'm surprised that haven't commented on 9/11 yet). Just don't watch it. But i do feel sorry for the writers. Once it's shown in Australia the same idiots who thought "lets kill all the stingrays" wil prob try and hunt them down  |

Yes, it is far too soon. You need to wait at least a year before making jokes about dead people...FFS people, what is with you? First, South Park does not suck because they make an occasional joke which isn't great. They are still better than pretty much any other cartoon in existance. Second, Ghandi is also in South Park hell, that Steve was there is not a comment on his character. Third, people who are so easily offended that they'd freak over a joke about someone who died shouldn't be watching South Park. Get over it people. If you dont like it, dont watch it. I could name hundreds of jokes South Park has made which could have been considered "in bad taste" by some people, which none of you said word one about. Just because it struck a bit closer to home for you because you watched Steve does not make it any different. |

In regard to this. ITS CALLED FREE PUBLICITY! - UNDERSTAND THAT ALL YOU ARE DOING IS MAKING OTHER PEOPLE WANT TO SEE WHAT THE FAWK YOUR SO ANGRY ABOUT! In television there is a code of ethics just like in any line of work and I'm sorry the write crossed it. I bet they were saying the did it as a tribute. Well they could have wrote something diff. If they wanted a tribute one of the kids could have been his biggest fan and got a memorial or something or just dedicate an episode to him. The writers are the freaky I hate everything type who just write this garbage so that they can feel better about themselves and have a nice lifestyle. What I say is Beevis and Buthead was short lived for southpark it's only a matter of time before everyone's tired of your whinging. Then they'll all find another whiner to listen to.
