SpoonFork you're an idiot. The thing about humans is no matter how much we like to think we are completely civil we are not. Every human has undeniable, primal and animalistic traits. It's a given that every once in a while we will fight, it's in our nature. That doesnt mean the world is going to a so called "hell", or that the world will die. We've been like this for thousands or years, how are we supposed to change now?

wow, that's strange. Fights are pretty uncommon in football.

That fight was awesome! Fights are pretty much the only reason i watch sporting events. The guys bashing someone with his helmet was priceless!

I see most of the women posting comments about how barbaric the football players are, or how they're acting like apes. When you're on the field fueled with adrenaline and you see your teammate getting beat on, it's a natural instinct to help him out. That then causes a chain reaction with all the other teammates and causes a brawl like you see in the video. When you're in a game that's meant to take down the opposing team, it's hard to just "talk it out" when something doesn't go right. I'm not trying to be sexist here but men love sports. A world without sports for men is like a world without fashion for women, or whatever women couldn't live with. I believe we just enjoy the adrenaline rush, the excitement, and the athleticism in sports.

Vikstar, there are 11 players from each team on the field, but generally around 50 players on each team. So when a fight breaks out in football, it can get pretty big.

Anyone else notice the Miam(orange) player who bashes his helmet on someone?

Poor white newscaster... he had to sit there and laugh politely while that negro spewed out enthusiasm for this senseless urban brawl, where all our fine students of affirmative-action and athletic scholarships spread their cultural contributions to whatever stadium they happened to be stationed in! Don't you love it when black people exemplify their own stereotypes? Saves a lot of work on behalf of me and others who saw this kind of barberic activity take place in their own neighborhoods... "you come into our territory, you're gonna get your butt beaten." No wonder sports where blacks are involved so heavily shares such an affinity with hip-hop accoutrements... they all share they same mentality! Duh, there IS a similarity here people, stop supporting it with your money and start recognizing the "racial" issues that Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton don't want you to take notice of!

Hey angelicamber... if women ran the world, we wouldn't HAVE competitive sports... just cooperative ones, where EVERYBODY won! Just like that radio station Rosie O' Donnell hopes to start with her other liberal pets. A radio-station "FREE OF DISSENT" in political discussions, where everybody agrees! Now THAT will be an archway to orwellian demagogy!

Promoting this senseless violence in the sports arena only fuels the drive by shootings, gang warfare of the streets.

This is why I only watch hockey

OK for al of those who dont watch sports. FIU,they suck but kick A$$ in fighting. There were more people kicked off of their team because they suck at football. Thats one bad thing about the NCAA is that they punish the bad teams because no one cares about them.

Deaf_woman, you're right. He was fired for it. I heard it on the news last night. I was glad to hear it because that was stupid. I think he was trying to be cute or funny or something but it was moronic. He was promoting senseless violence. If the other team had been beaten by 40 points he could make comments about them "coming into our house". But when they're really getting physically attacked then it was pathetic. I hope he can't get another job as a sports broadcaster.

Disgraceful, yet the crowd loved it. Doubt they got that injured, they have so much padding -.- All of them should be fired though and should never be able to play again.

I think Lamarr, the 2nd commentator, was just fired for what he said there (basically supporting the fighting).
So that's good.

competetive sports have reduced the human male to monkeys throwing sh#t.The fight was probably over which football player could rape the most dates.
