Monday, August 14, 2006 8:54:07 PM "Leyner: People have no idea how much work it is for a man to produce an ejaculation. You have this seminal vesicle churning out this fluid, the prostate gland producing an alkaline solution. It's like having five iron chefs in your crotch working to cook up this stuff." thats great!!!! |

Wednesday, August 09, 2006 1:43:18 AM To Rikushix: They might be teenage whores, but then they might also be rape victims. But I suppose them being rape victims wouldn't convey your point as well as them being teenage whores does. |

Tuesday, August 08, 2006 6:28:01 PM ""Leyner: People have no idea how much work it is for a man to produce an ejaculation."HA! Try giving birth." All the 13-17 year old girls cheering that comment on: Birth? If you've given birth and know what it feels like, then you're a teenage whore. If you haven't, then you don't know what you're talking about, so put a cork in it. |

Tuesday, August 08, 2006 3:40:47 AM LJKSlain, the article isn't talking about multiple orgasms, whether men or women have greater pleasure, masturbation, or how hard it is to achieve pleasure. No, the article is simply offering an explanation as to why it is so difficult for *men* to *ejaculate*, and it's because their process is more involved and has more stages. Personally I feel exhausted after achieving an ejaculation and must rest whereas women (at least a good number of them, seeing how they have no refractory period) are ready to go again in seconds to mere minutes. No one's doubting you know your information, LKJSlain, but it simply doesn't have anything to do with the on-going discussion. |

Tuesday, August 08, 2006 12:56:33 AM I did NOT get my information from MAGAZINES... 9_9 I know better than that FIRSTLY, I also don't spew information at any given time that is only from ONE study. So, Sabre, I don't know what YOU'RE reading/believing, but maybe you should do a little more research. And I didn't say that women DID masturbate that often, I said that SEXUALLY HEALTHY women CAN and some DO. And honestly? If those guys have a PHD in medicine, then they should be answering these questions a little more scientifically and not saying "I THINK" at the begining of their sentences. READ THE DUMB ANSWERS! They're not even conclusions. It's just simply wrong. :P Sorry, this is coming from study. Your wife may be an exception. To the other dude, (Overman) I know all about how a woman has multiple orgasms/ and has a substance that COULD BE CONSIDERED ejaculation and the G-spot and everything. I also know that it isn't in all women. Point is, women actually work harder to achieve pleasure. Not men |

Monday, August 07, 2006 10:01:33 PM thedoor92, i asked this question to one of my friends in med school and he said it had to do with the fact that during early fetal development, both male and female genes are present but due to some biological influx, one or the other genes surges ahead and becomes dominant. In the case of the man, his nipples are merely leftovers from the transition. |

Monday, August 07, 2006 5:14:50 PM LJKSlain, I think the article is referring to the difficulty of producing an ejaculation, not necessarily achieving an orgasm. I cannot speak for all men, but I can achieve orgasm fairly easily (I suspect how quickly one achieves orgasm is correlated to how aroused one is, but I haven't looked up any data on that specifically). And while women can ejaculate, it doesn't come (no pun intended, I assure you) as natural to women as it does to men. From what I once read in Redbook, I understand women must manually stimulate the G-spot to produce a substance that is not semen, whereas men (unless hindered by some dysfunction) ejaculate following near every orgasm. |

Monday, August 07, 2006 4:29:04 PM ***...is WHY women don't do it so often, it's a lot of work...and even I wouldn't want to work that hard sometimes. Also, thankfully my wife doesn't need toys..hopefully you don't need them that badly, because I'm willing to put forth what it takes to please her...I recommend finding a guy that does the same...or girl if that's your cup of tea..(in fact I tried to buy her something and she turned it down LOL..) Although...I know about 90 percent of guys don't want to work that hard..lol tmi..i'm sure..

Monday, August 07, 2006 4:23:18 PM LKJSlainI'm afraid your wrong on quite a few things..yes maybe in women between 18-29 you may be slightly right, but the average girl/woman does NOT masterbate that often...maybe you do, and good for you. The book goes into a lot more detail than what's on that page..perhaps you should read it first?! So NO I'm not shocked...some woman do it that often, i know that. We're talking average here, yes the average woman is capable, but doesn't, and if you're basing it on one of your "womens" magazines..then you should know they don't exactly tell the truth all the time, just like their skin and bones models are supposed to represent the "average" woman...hmmmm By the way one of those two guys..has a PHD in health and medicine..I think he knows what he's talking about. I also know it's more difficult for the average woman, duh..I'm married, anyway, and this...thanks for helping prove it right by the way, is way woman don't do it as often...it's a lot of work i |

Monday, August 07, 2006 4:15:30 PM I think that BOTH of these idiots should "try again" to answer the question. Scientifically, a woman's orgasm is STRONGER than one produced by a man and more intense. Not to mention that we can ejaculate as well. There is ALSO the reality check (That apparently they both need) - actually, it is MORE difficult for women to reach orgasm (some percentage of them can do it very quickly) but MOST women don't even orgasm during sex. So, this is a load of bologna... Also to Sabre, YES, women DO masturbate as much as men. I KNOW SHOCKING ISN'T IT?! But, on average, a healthy, sexual female can masturbate two/three times a day. Why do you think that most SEXUAL toys are for... WOMEN!?!?! If men fall asleep after sex, it could be attributed to other things, possibly that they were exhausted to begin with. ORRRR possibly they just need to learn was "REAL" intimacy is. |

Monday, August 07, 2006 3:19:25 PM My cousin had the "Why do men have nipples?" book. It's something you'd keep in the bathroom. Pointless, yet random tidbits that keep life interesting. And just as girls can't determine how hard it is for a guy to orgasm, guys can't determine how hard it is for women to. Differs for everyone.Though I suppose "workload" would be a good explanation for the look on guys faces. Like they just swallowed a big spoonful of vinegar or took a bite out of a really sour lemon. |
