Umm there are some people who deserve to get hit by a car... he's no exception. If you do something this foolish you will pay. If it had been america the guy would have gotten out and started cursing the guy.Pedestrians have the right of way but not on interstaes and highways like this. |

For anyone who's interested in knowing, that's highway 401 in Toronto (as has already been stated.) It's 16 lanes because there's 4 lanes for the express and 4 lanes for the collectors going each way. This highway is one of the major ways that commuters get into and out of Toronto every day. And crossing the 401 isn't something that people do every day. That being said, how impressive. I sometimes run scross 5 lanes of traffic to get to school, but I just got seriously outclassed. |

if i wanted to go across 16 lanes of traffic i either have to leave the state of cross 3 or 4 times cause there arent that many lanes to cross in oregon |

I'm not sure anyone *deserves* to be hit by a car... but I can only imagine he must have had a fairly urgent need to cross the highway at that particular point. Either that or he was dead drunk, as is evidenced by his shaking the driver's hand. |

while in the usa pedestrians have the right of way in most situation (devided highways like that one being and exception in many states) if your on a bicycle you must obey regular trafic laws.. just thought i would throw that out there. |
