Tuesday, July 18, 2006 2:38:03 PM "Wow.... although i hate racing because it WASTES GAS" If this kid knew what he was talking about "Wah wah!! racing wastes gas!! boo hoo!!" he would know that racing gas is different because the engines are much more faster and much different in the way they are built. The gas they use to race isn't the same type they use to race. Racing gas is much more rich. Hey tree hugger... do you walk or ride a bike? If not.. then shut it. You're a example of how the government can control people. puppet. |

Tuesday, July 11, 2006 8:10:30 PM quote: And I dont. I like racing, but wouldn't you agree that they need to find another source of energy instead of gas?----------------- Well, racecars use much higher rated octane fuels than our regular passenger cars, especially in the U.S. Racegas is often rated at or above 100 octane, while pump gas in the U.S. varies from 85/87 - 93/95 octane. I think the real problem is people driving gas-chugging SUV's for no real reason at all, except to feel 'safe' and above the road. If you own a Land Rover and you actually use it off-road for agricultural and other purposes, then that's fine, but driving Jimmy and Sally to school with a Lincoln Navigator is just stupid. |
