man, there are so many people out there that go around hating things. if those people actually sat down and tried to understand islam, they would know that islam is not telling muslims to go around killing nonbelievers or that women should be oppressed or any of the other misconceptions people have. it makes me sad when people are so mean. and god bless those people in the video. im a born muslim and those converts are better muslims than me. allah has touched thier souls. alhamdu lillah. masha allah.

Okay, first of all, the Nazis were atheists, not Christians. Secondly, Islam is in fact hostile to other religions and cultures. The Quran really does tell Muslims to convert, subjugate, or kill all non-Muslims. Christianity, by contrast, neither encourages violence against non-Christians nor produce a whole lot of crazed killers. Have you ever heard of a Christian college professor telling his students that an entire race of people deserves to die?If anyone wants to bash a religion, bash liberalism. It has all the characteristics of a religion. A sacrament (abortion), blind faith contradicted by science (belief in evolution, for which no scientific evidence exists), churches (public inner-city schools and major universities), holy text (the New York Times), prophets (Michael Moore, Hillary Clinton, Cindy Sheehan, etc.), and hostility toward Christianity.

Similiarities yes, but not even close to being the same.And no, censorship is not my solution, just not posting things that might be controversial (this isnt REALLY) in todays world. Not to say Christianity doesn't have a violent past, and I see very many faults with even current-day Christians, but at least we have evolved to a point where our thirst for blood doesn't cause us to become a detrement to society.It all boils down to one thing: Religion + Ignorance = Hate It just so happens that Islam currently contains the most ignorant people at this time. Coincidentally, the more theocratic a nation becomes, the more ignorant it becomes. While America's dominant religion is Christianity, the religion does not control the government. However, in the Middle East (as well as in other parts of Asia and Africa), Islam is practiced by 70% or more of the people, so Islam effectively controls the nation. Thus, "preferences" become laws, and "radicals" become heroes, even role models. That's why children in Pakistan did the whole "finger hitting their palm" thing on 9/11 in celebration of the attacks on America. |

To me, I look at it this way. The worst that I've seen from Christianity is the occasional crazy murderer and the KKK. The only thing we see from Buddhists are ones that set themselves on fire and stuff. I don't see the local Rabbi preaching about the "pig-blooded American infidels" either. However, when I turn around, it is ALWAYS a group of radical Muslims plotting terror against the US and its allies, bombing stuff, capturing and beheading Americans, tourists, journalists, and even OTHER Muslims, setting fire to embassies, preaching hate, promoting violence against the innocent, going apesh*t and rioting over cartoons written in a country that promotes freedom of speech (even though Christians don't riot over a crucifix in a jar of urine being called "art", nor does the Jewish community murder people for cracking jokes at their expense). Gee, the list goes on.If I remember correctly, this religion spread through violence as well. Big f*cking surprise. |

Yeah yeah, whatever. All I am going to say is that Islam, the "Religion of Peace", is the only religion that spawns radicals that fly planes into buildings and bomb embassies, trains, subways, double decker busses, and whatever the hell else they can. Yes, there are such things as moderate Muslims, most of which live in westernized countries, but when you go to countries that are theocratic in nature and where Muslim is pretty much the only religion, you start to see what harm it does.A lot of you people talk about how we Americans (mostly White Christian Male Conservative Americans [which is not discrimination, mind you]) are ignorant and intolerant ("nontolerant" is not a word), but in reality, these nations that are predominantly Islam breed terrorists that are making a "jihad" against the "infidels". Yeah, it's all Western Civ's fault. |

WOW! There seems to be many misconceptions on what true Christianity is.Unfortuantly, the side of Christianity that most people see are the ignorant, judgmental, "holier-than-thou", "Christians" that are really just a bunch of hypocrites. TRUE CHRISTIANITY is not about religion at all. It is about a PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP with God his son Jesus Christ. The point of life is not to follow rules and regulations, it is to love God, the creator, with everything are, and to love others as yourself. I hope that clears it up for everyone |
