"isnt english the most widely spoken language?"No, Spanish is the most widely spoken. And football/soccer in Spanish is fútbol. Does that more closely resemble the word football or soccer? Also in French is is "football", in German it is "Fußball", in Portuguese it is "football", and in Dutch it is "voetbal". So yes, it is called football in more places than it's not.
psssh as if! The world's population is at round 6mil. China alone has 1.2 million people. Then add all the other mandarin speakin chinese in USA, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Malaysia, UK.

In english it's football, in french it´s football, in spanish it´s futbol, in german it´s fußball, in swedish it´s fotboll, in dutch it´s voetbal......so why the f*ck call it soccer?^^^
americans are weird stupid people, they grow physically too fast and thier brains cant keep up, But seriously why do 16 year olds in american look like 35 year olds?
