Have you seen their formula for working out the score? “Movie’s Overall Rating is the sum of the actor overall ratings who appear in the movie. An Actor's Overall Ratings is calculated as follows: (-1)(# of liberal quotes) + (-1)(liberal donations / $10,000) + (5)(# of conservative quotes) + (3)(conservative donations / $5,000” They give a massive bias to the conservative view pint (x5 instead of x1) and still most of the movies come out liberal. Not a good list to publish if you are trying to push conservative films.

DrewK, you should learn more about history and politics before you try to sound like you know what you are talking about. And I know, you are going to ignore the point of my statement and attack me personally, but thats why I have no respect for you and anyone else who considers themselves a conservative, because they care too much about themselves and not enough about everyone else on the planet.

I'm probably going to be attacked by someone here, but I really don't care. I'm neither liberal, nor conservative. I'm libertarian, which people could say is liberal, but there's a difference. Anyway, just had to say: all the conservatives and liberals attacking eachother on here...shut up. I do agree, though, that this site was blatant conservative propaganda.What's the biggest difference between liberals and libertarians? What's the closest similarity? |

I don't consider myself conservative or liberal. I have some conservative opinions and some liberal opinions. I'm glad to see some kind of pro-conservative link (serious or not) on here since 95% of the political links on this site lean toward bashing Bush and conservatives. By the way, that NEVER gets old, NEVER. Of course, it's all in good fun, right all you self-proclaimed liberals? At least that's what you'd say if you were on the other side of the joke. I find it funny that 90% of the people at my school that DON'T KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT are liberal. Its all because of stupid, meaningless channels like MTV that brainwash the youth into seeing their way, instead of letting them choose for themselves

I love how "The Mask" is considered "Conservative" because of Ben Stein... GIVE ME A BREAK... the guy's in there for less than 2 minutes... and under the actor's listed, Jim Carrey isn't even there... WTF!?!?!?!?! Total BS...BTW, all you Right Wing/ Republicans... This is stupid. You can't just give a movie a political label based on its actors. I mean, it's a good concept (I guess), but it just wasn't done right. Plus, labeling the highly liberal movies as "toxic waste" is a pretty immature thing to do. |
