But the Life of Brian is now aclaimed as one of the greatest comedies while The Last Temptation for ex. is still banned in a few countries and only recently allowed in Blockbuster stores. |

Monty Python's Life of Brian was far more controversial in its day - here in the UK at least - than the Passion, for example. |

I do not like controvertial movies nor war movies, romatic movies or thirllers. Let me just nice things to enjoy while going to the movies; such as fantasy, Sci-fi, commedies, and of course animations. hehehehehe |

Oh come on, "Deep Throat" was on there but "Flower of Flesh and Blood" wasn't? That had the FBI investigating it as a possible snuff film, and the filmmakers had to release a "making of" to get the authorities off their backs. |

You know Aladdin was a story before Disney made it into a cartoon, right? It's not referring to the cartoon.Um, yes it is. DIRECTED BY RON CLEMENTS AND JOHN MUSKER (1992), that would be the Disney version. Rocky Horror should definately be on there. I've never seen a more disturbing movie and dramatized my childhood.

^The original "The Hills Have Eyes" goes under horror, the remake goes under bloody. I liked them both though. |

I knew Passion would be on there. Knew it from the start. And I agree with most of you guys about the movies that should be on the list. 'Cept for sulu, cause he's being sarcastic. So, to start another topic, what is YOUR favorite movie?I can't pick. People say King Kong sucks, but I enjoyed it. A little.
Or maybe a bloody film? Saw II, perhaps, or Hostel?
Maybe a horror movie? Silent Hill, The Hills Have Eyes(which might belong in gory).
Romantic movies? Uggh. Can't stand them.
So maybe I like Chronicles of Narnia. I know it was a kid's movie, but you gotta admit it was pretty cool.

and i saw da vinci code, farenheight, and passion of christ all coming...and people get in a hoot over some movies because they portray the wrong idea to the mass public, they don't HAVE to watch it, but when it spreads the wrong stuff around, it'll end up effecting you in the long run. |

I really think The Last Temptation of Christ whould be number one because The Passion is. Both are films of Jesus and I believe that a scene with Jesus having sex is more controversial than one where he is beaten...which is what really happened according to the Bible. |

The end of Taxi Driver caused a TON of controversy when it came out. Also, just the fact of Iris, the teen prostitute is a little disturbing and also caused controversy. Taxi Driver should be number 2 or 1. |

WTF...The Passion of the Christ? The Last Temptation of Christ is only 6th? Rubbish. The Passion is more accurate and 'uncontroversial' than The Last Temptation where Jesus fantasies having sex. Eh. Whatever. |
