They didn't actually say what the outcome was, so there is every possibility that surgeons were able to reattatch the hand.And to anyone who commented on the pain side of things - I lost a finger about 18 months back and felt virtually no pain. Once the shock kicks in you go numb. Then they give you morphine  This is still horrible though. |

Poor little kid...
I usually don't like kids, but at a time like this, that is just tragic!
Bad parenting...but it might not have been the parent's faults...I'm not sure I wanted to know much more, it's just too sad.. |

i feel bad for the kid most defintly but how is it that she got her hand stuck in the first place?
some places that let u watch how candy is made is a floor above and there's glass so u can watch without interfering |

it's sad, she won't get to do any stuff that kids with two hands can do. she's missing out on a childhood, in a sense...
i mean, it would probably be worse if it was a guy, but that's so sad. |

Wow, i feel bad, but think of those people who have NO arms. I saw a picture of this 5 year old boy who got his hand stuck in a meat grinder. I almost threw up when i saw it. |

Somehow I think that there will be alot of complaints if there was a photo of a 18 month old baby with it's hand ripped off... how did the baby get close enouth to grap it anyway? I assume there was someone with the baby. |
