Sunday, March 12, 2006 5:31:26 PM This was an awesome star wars fan creation, and I've seen many on theforce.net and starwars.com. I was laughing throughout, and the ending was great. extremely worthy of 4 stars. and liking star wars doesn't make you a geek or a nerd. Face it, most people like star wars if you don't you're out of it or you are narrow-minded. |

Sunday, March 12, 2006 11:10:22 AM Light sabers aren't lasers. They're just like electricity going through several crystals which limits the size of the beam. Even if they were that big it wouldn't help much because there are various things that can completely stop a light saber, such as another lightsaber, or there is this certain type of mineral which can be made into suits or whatever. Also, if they could just kill everyone in one swipe, that wouldn't make for a very good movie now would it? |

Sunday, March 12, 2006 10:17:31 AM What a finely tuned ballet... two dudes rolling around on the floor, touching "swords". Heh.No, pretty good i guess. Question: why aren't light sabers like 100 ft. long when you switch 'em on? Or 1000 ft.? They're supposed to be lasers, right? And lasers shoot kinda like forever, until they hit something, no? So then you could kill a ton of dudes with the flick of your wrist. Wipe out the entire battlefield with one saber. Or whatever. |

Saturday, March 11, 2006 11:28:04 PM I actually know how they did that (except for the hovering) I have the program at home. What you do, is you select the two points - the end of the lightsaber blade, and the end of the handle. Then it creates a band of light in the designated space between. You just do this frame by frame, but still, that was amazing. |

Saturday, March 11, 2006 9:01:44 PM That was awesome. Great effects and everything, though I haven't seen Star Wars, I'm pretty sure these guys didn't use half as much crap as the real guys do. ANd they looked pretty young too. |
