I'm trying to figure out why something that doesn't effect someone can get that person so worked up... just chill seeing as you won't make any money off of it...

If you visit his website you'll see he states he is not involved with those pop tart commercials. Or very fond of them either.

I was just trying to get a rise out of people.

I have also wondered if don made the poptart commercials, pretty much same style and random humor, just not as good T_T

This short was actually nominated for best short animated film in the Oscars some years back. If you watch it carefully, you'll realize that he's commenting on how commercialism is ridiculous and that it's pretty much a satire. It IS quite brilliant and he does all of his animation by hand. To say that using "stick figures" is stupid, well, sometimes the message is more powerful than the artwork and that the art shouldn't distract. His work is good and I'd recommend checking out everything else he does.

This video has little humour and no merit, other than for 12 year-olds like to be grossed out.
There should be a "zero" in the vote choices.

Yeah, I found nothing humorous about that clip. Very random. To be perfectly honest, I feel like I have just wasted 9 minutes tonight watching that when I could have done something better. Such as organizing my bills or watching paint dry. Everyone's sense of humor is different though, so at least this guy seems like he's entertaining some people.

"hey, FU** DON. Mr. rebel, cant take a lil free publicity? Besides, i can draw stick figures with a #2 pencil, I dont need his uncreative ass to tell me i am not worthy to download his doodles. Besides, Ween one upped his ass when it comes to screwing corporate sponsors,( btw, dons parents must be rich) Just down load "where'd the cheese go?" and read the corrosponding story."

oh really? ok, show me some of your work. Show me a 9-minute long "stick figure" animation you did, every single frame shot, and uploaded onto the internet. Remember, no computer help when you're drawing your cartoon. I wait for your masterpiece to arrive.

Ok, lets run this through, since all of you have many poignant questions and statements towards me. First, I'm not Don, nor have I ever met him (too lazy to get off my ass to find him at the animation festivals) but I'm sure if he was here, he'd react the same way.

Onto everything else:

"hey rocko shut the hell up you retard no one gives a rats anus which is bleeding) about what you are saying except you and maybe Hertzfeldt"

hmm......you do bring up a good point about how "no one gives a rats anus" and then go on to mention that the anus is also bleeding, and then you go on to say that I'm a "retard" so my response is: 42

"Oh, rocko, now that you mention it, I should go and buy and rejected dvd right away, even though theres 203972109370213 copies internet wide, youve really convinced me to go out and buy a rare dvd as soon as possible! Geez where have I been?"

thats the great thing about the internet, you can sit at your computer chai

...But being crazy adds color to life.

Also you have to be a danger to yourself or others lives to be admitted to a mental hospital.

That was... different. I.e. it sucked. big time. Someone who would find that funny just needs to turn themselves in to a mental hospital. Or hang themselves, what the f**k do i care?

OK, a couple things...

The Family Learning Channel did exist years ago. I believe they were bought by Disney and is now ABC Family. I doubt this was ever truly submitted for actual commericials, it's just part of the gag.

Second, you really want to piss Rocko/Hertzfeldt off? Watch this...

hey isn't this the guy that does those POP TART commercials now?!?! heheheheh CRAAAAAAZY GOOOOOD!!!

heehee JK
