That's just the tightness of the vaginal walls. If you're not tight after childbirth, you get a vaginal tightening. And I could see why that would be accepted. After you get stretched out, and you don't want to hold your pc muscles for that long, a tightening is something that would help your sex life.
But to repair the hymen, something that a guy barely feels and just hurts for the woman to feel her skin ripping, and for one time only, that would just SUCK.
My hymen ripped before I even had sex, and it didn't make me not a virgin. |

I really only see people ridiculing these women. I disagree with that.
it is not getting your virginity back, but the experience of the first time. Especially after a woman has had a kid, they are not as tight as they used to be. imagine not feeling a thing while making love. you might want to change that. so i commend them.also, there are women who are killed if they do not appear to be virgins when they are married, and that is a reason why some of them are married so young, that way they don't have the opportunity to do so. |

Double standard, anyone? These women cannot have sex before marriage because of the severe consequences and yet the men can play the field all they want and not have any repercussions. So these men are whores too, then? Of course not! Men are allowed to f!#k around all they want but women are supposed to be chaste and inexperienced so their husband can be their first. Also, in these places women are very often raped. It's not their fault yet still, they are no longer a virgin and still face the consequences. Yes, the world is f#$@ed up and women shouldn't have to have these operations but I think in such cases as rape, the operation is necessary if it prevents death or beatings. |

holy crap in a basket batman, people pay a lot of money for something that really isn't worth THAT much. (I mean, seriously, $5,000 for a simple surgery that doesn't even last for that long. GET PILLS AND THEN GET A NEW COMPUTER OR JETSKI OR SOMETHING!)(also, 'prolly gonna get a lot cheaper if the surgery becomes more popular and a regular procedure) |

That's too wasteful and expensive for something that matters so little. I don't see why giving up your virginity to someone is such a great thing to do for someone either. Placing virginity on a high pedastal for women and not for men is setting seperate sexual codes for the sexes. |
