Wednesday, March 01, 2006 12:50:06 AM Let's see. "DaSniper44". We all know a sniper has obvious connotations with death. Then the Nazi symbology in the avatar. Nah, no attention craving going on there. |

Wednesday, March 01, 2006 12:29:33 AM Opiebreath where did u get ur psychology degree, on the internet from a 10 minute course? I have no idea where u got either of those from. I have never known anyone with any mental illness, nor do I crave attention. I really dont care that he can play a sport and was merly expressing myslef which is what comments are for. If i wanted attention id dress up in a pink dress, dance the macarena, and post the video here. |

Wednesday, March 01, 2006 12:18:11 AM Well DaSniper44, either you're an attention whore, which is probably most likely, or you have a relative/know someone that's autistic so you have to deal with the daily hardships, and instead of talking to people about how you feel about it, you decide to bottle it up and or turn it into agression towards other autistic people.Anyways, have an UNDERSTANDING day. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2006 10:59:49 PM I was ready to tell a story about this autistic kid I know and how much I hate his family, but that just seems low now. Stuff heartwarming, that was heartMELTING. I was almost in tears by the end of it. Who cares which point of the game it was at, if they were winning or not. That was brilliant, and what made it even better was the support he got from the crowd. Even when he was just called up, before he'd done anything, the people watching went crazy. That respect was just for being the team's gofer, getting thier water and stuff. You'd be hard pressed to find anyone in my area with a disability who would get that sort of praise. We smile, wave and be nice to disabled people (physically or otherwise) but most people steer clear. At my primary school, it was combined with a school for disabled kids, and three of us a day were chosen to go visit in there and play. The younger kids were fine, they loved it, but the older kids (not me, I loved it too) didn't want to even go near the fence |

Tuesday, February 28, 2006 10:50:43 PM Wow...a wonderful story. My little brother is autistic, and it's always nice to hear such great stories about how people rise above the challenges they've been handed. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2006 10:06:01 PM I saw it on the local news, here in the North West and the newscasters were close to tears. I sent the link to my friend who has an autistic son. That story is just all good! |

Tuesday, February 28, 2006 9:57:04 PM it makes me feel good to know that there are still people in this world, real people the kind that care for others. That guy did great and the enthusiasm of the crowd just topped off the whole thing. |

Tuesday, February 28, 2006 9:25:39 PM That was great..... 6 3s in the last four minutes of the game. If he is at that school next year I feel he needs to get a chance to play more often....And for those of you who say things like "no one was moving on the court" You try and go to an EMPTY court and hit 6 three pointers... in 10 mintues let alone 4 mintues. He did not get lucky that is pure skill..... |

Tuesday, February 28, 2006 7:11:16 PM That was amazing. To all the people that arent amazed by it, think of this.... you try to make six three-pointers in a row with a disability. This kid deserves all the kudos in the world. it shows some goodheartedness that there still is |
