This would only be offensive if they had said that the hosts had already been transubstantiated (changed from the wafer into the Body of Christ). If they haven't been blessed, then it is perfectly okay to just eat them like a cracker, because that's all they are at tat point. |

the hosts really aren't that tasty...
we used Cheez-Its in my first communion class.I think I would like it if we used Cheez-Its on a regular basis. mmm. |

and i realize i may seem like a jerk who just offended everyone and will start a flame war but *shrugs*.. religion is nothing to get all uptight about.. my advice to people who get mad over religion: live a little and quit being narrow minded. i'm not encouraging rebellion. i'm just saying if you live in a cave and start judging people all the time and take your anger out on people and start acting stuck up, take a look at who you've become. that is not what god wants. i'm not the perfect example of a good person... noone is. but i do have the nerve and conscious that's big enough that even though i get involved in the world, i still tell people i won't go to their parties because i don't drink, smoke,etc. and i don't pick on less fortunate people, etc. i actually try to encourage ppl to go to church. this is how we all should be. involved in the world but separated in spirit. |

dude.. if that's the body of christ then you guys are cannibals and that stuff would have decayed. besides, jesus' earthly body rose from the grave. i don't know much about the past but im not into it. i'm a christian with some jewish beliefs. i look more towards the future and preparing for his coming rather than doing all this crazy stuff like eating flesh? where did his word say we were supposed to do it? and if it does somewhere, then count me as a heathen. god must hate us all if we don't eat that flesh (sarcasm). we worry too much about the past and getting wound up in earthly practices rather than preparing for the most important part of our lives... his return. |
