Saturday, February 11, 2006 7:51:58 PM Hell yeah, Volcom. They're building the Virgin Galactic Spaceport down in my neck of the woods. Finally, some tax money spent on something that may actually benefit mankind. Boggles the mind. |

Saturday, February 11, 2006 3:09:56 PM Civilians can participate in this experience for $3,750. If you've got the cash you should try it. Here is an article a guy wrote about his experience: http://www.incredible-adventures.com/pre... He also mentions that they want to train civilian astronauts and sell suborbital flights for $220,000. Space tourism could be the next big thing. |

Saturday, February 11, 2006 8:17:29 AM this is pretty cool. this is just proof that astronauts get bored pretty easy. NASA should like, at least give them an xbox 360 or somethin to keep them occupied up there. |

Friday, February 10, 2006 8:18:39 PM Dude, that's not in space. It's in a special plane used to help train astronauts. They go really high up and then let the plane drop, giving the illusion of no gravity (same as the illusion of no grav when in orbit). But yah, that's AWESOME! |

Friday, February 10, 2006 6:21:27 PM this was on the science channel about a month ago.seems it started as a free time screw-around and lead to a new understanding of how gravity pulled the planets together out of the dust cloud they say formed the solor system |
