Sunday, December 03, 2006 12:51:50 PM Ok...May be fake...may be real...I belive it's real. Because if you put a glass bottle (which explodes under hot pressure) with a metal lid (which will explode a microwave)....boom goes microwave. There! Ya happy now? Also try microwaving 100 marshmallows in your microwave! SUGAR PARADISE!!!! |

Friday, February 03, 2006 11:13:14 PM ajr2006, my understanding is that that pressure building up within the bottle could escape through the cap, creating an explosion, but one not quite as big as the one shown. On the other hand, I may be wrong. Please prove me wrong, somebody! *Waits for Darwin Award* -Fermented |

Friday, February 03, 2006 10:02:30 AM Fermented: Rigged my friends, rigged. A simple beer bottle cannot do that, so therefor, they used explosives. Notice they also used a cheap, old microwave, and the footage simply leapt into 3 seperate shots.
What are you all idiots? Yes, it would do that, you see a microwave "cooks" things from the inside out, soooo when the microwave is on the liquid inside the bottle heats up, now when that liquid heats up it releases gases. Because the beer bottle is tightly capped the gases have nowhere to go, eventually pressure builds up in the bottle and it explodes, this particular bottle being made out of glass made the explosion much more volatile because it is stronger that your average aluminum can, or plastic soda bottle. Don't believe me? Try it. It wouldn't be safe though. |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 6:55:57 PM Yeah, that was really fake. The dialogue was obviously pre planned. Way too corny to be real. "Hey Jim, you better get away from that microwave." I like putting marshmallow smowmen in the microwave |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 11:07:45 AM THIS IS HORRIBLE! I mean what did that beer do to anybody? Nothing thats what. His purpose in life was to bring joy to someone's taste buds, and how is he repaid? He is blown to smithereens. This clip depicts cruelty to fermented alcohol and should be taken off the site. |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 9:32:55 AM I only have the urge to do this so that we can have one with half decent camera work, and no scene change where they could have easily replaced the beer with explosives. |
