Saturday, March 18, 2006 3:25:12 PM Whoaaa, when you press control and spin the wheel it makes the whole page (pictures, scroll bar and all) smaller/bigger. That's pretty interesting. |

Saturday, March 18, 2006 3:23:04 PM I'm at my dad's house, he uses IE so I downloaded it. I won't be able to download it at my house.. XP will most likely come up as not being genuine. I use Firefox there anyway. But the fonts are all smooth.. it's weird. I don't know if I like it or not. |

Saturday, February 11, 2006 1:13:09 AM I am using firefox to post this comment.I saw this coming. Microsoft knew that unless they did something radical everyone would use firefox and they'd be out of the running. Naturally releasing a better version of IE is the best thing to do. IE7 sounds impressive but Ive yet to test it. This is one of those "add to favourites" and use it later things. |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 8:27:04 PM People need to know there are other possibilites out there.. If you like IE fine. But doesn't it kind of seem silly to use something inferior, when there are other better browsers out there for little to no cost? Wouldn't make sense as a consumer to get something better that's "practically free" than use what you have now? It's not a hard decision. I understand that the occasional webpage won't come up in other browsers. But if you get a bunch of errors using something besides IE, it's more than likely it's Windows fault anyway. The operating system is about as good as the browser. |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 8:16:39 PM How can someone NOT get spy and ad-ware on their computer using IE explorer? There are two possibilities. One - You have no anti-spyware programs on your computer. You computer isn't slow yet so you assume you have none (idiot). or Two - you have some lame A** anti-spyware program that doesn't work. Listen, I got my own copy of Windows XP (actually someone gave it to me as a present, but I needed an OS) with the updates and everything a week ago. I ran a spyware check TODAY and some 40 items of spyware was on my computer already. And no, I don't surf porn or go to weird sites that you would typically think have spyware. If you say you dont have spyware, have no anti-spyware program, and use Internet Explorer, you're full of BS. Thank you. |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 8:09:56 PM Well, it didn't take long for the first flaw to be found. Way to go Microsoft! Nice. The article can be found at eWeek. http://www.eweek.com/article2/0,1895,191... |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 8:54:22 AM I never usually use IE (opera is more my style) but I wanted to try this. It totally wrecked my system- nothing would work! Had to use system restore to get it running again. My McAfee packed in completely coz of it. Won't be trying it again thank you very much |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 5:39:47 AM xxtwist3dxx, what do you mean you cannot open two windows of IE? You must be talking about Beta 1 which had a lot of problems. Beta 2 fixed a bunch of things. You can open two windows now. And for everyone claiming "Omg it crashed my computer," what in the world? Are you on Service Pack 2 of XP? IE7 is designed for XP and shouldn't crash. I've used it for awhile without a single crash. And crashing your computer and have to do a full system restore? You are an idiot, just pick a restore point from yesterday...Some people ahte Microsoft so much that they judge their products now and will say anything to put their name bad. I bet a bunch of you think Vista sucks too, don't you? |

Thursday, February 02, 2006 12:20:02 AM Wow, that's stolen a LOT from other programs. I swear that gear symbol comes straight from the current Mac operating system. Also, there's a lot that's been around a while and they're finnally catching up. Maybe I'll download it once it's released officially. |

Wednesday, February 01, 2006 10:36:50 PM I love Firefox. I LOVE my extentions, I love the search feature, I love the automatic wiki lookups.Besides, IE is too slow. I don't even want to waste my time downloading IE7, it will just try to change all of my default setting from Firefox to it and irritate the hell out of me. |

Wednesday, February 01, 2006 7:03:03 PM I've had this version of IE for a while and I have never used it again because you can no longer open two complete windows at once without the first closing. It is also very slow and crashes frequently. I'll stick with my Firefox =) |

Wednesday, February 01, 2006 6:50:43 PM Haha. 5 minutes on this thing and I'm already pissed off at it. It simply WILL NOT leave me alone about my security settings. I have custom settings which are apparently "too low" for IE, so every time I load a new page it loads this orange bar on top, warning me of that. I FU*KEN KNOW, DAMMIT. Besides, my FF runs faster, has extensions (I LOVE Foxytunes), and I generally like it better. It's a *little* bit better than IE6, but not enough to be worth the switch. |
