Sunday, January 22, 2006 4:32:38 AM They had been worried about the whales weight for ages, some one suggested they take it to a "whale weigh station" - (railway station?) boom-boom-tsh! Yeah i was more worried about the whale than 1 out of 6 billion people dying. |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 8:30:10 PM bang... I guess Im odd. Neither affected me. Well, If I had to choose, I like animals better. People are so mean to them when they are only mean to us when they have a reason : Such as: We are in their territory, they have offspring near, they feal threatened, and a bunch more. No one notices by only in a few years monkeys, along with many more rainforest animals will just be in books and drawings, because we are destroying the rainforests. Alot of creatures that were never even discovered are already extinct because of this. Animals are awesome, and people are just over-rated, we would expect animals alot more if we werent on top of the food chain. Well sorry for the long post, Im gonna go listen to Simple Plan ^_^ |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 8:04:29 PM bang_... Yes, good for you... but I'm sorry to say that this isnt about miners. Yes, that was sad. Very. But miners and whales relate in no way here. |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 7:53:31 PM This is very sad because we can relate to this one. Nobody notices that 200 whales are clubbed every year. Sick. |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 6:31:08 PM oh. no. what shall i ever do? //sarcasticnessTo me, humans are far more important. The two miners that died in the underground fire affected me more than this. |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 3:39:08 PM I think that to persuade it to go downstream, they should have dumped seven tons of fish downstream. |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 3:33:48 PM It's not a "poor Whale", it's not like someone forced it to swim up the river, it just wanted to, maybe it had plans.... |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 3:32:20 PM really? at 5 o clock gmt it was still alive. ahhh if it survived it would have been better.. obviously. did it die naturally, or did they kill it to put it out of its suffering? they said they were going to if it wasn't fit enough to be let back into the sea. euthanasia is a good thing, in my opinioin.but why couldn't they have done something earlier? like at least stop other boats going in and out , and put a barrier across further up the river to stop it travelling further inland. they said the rescue operation cost over £50,000.. |

Saturday, January 21, 2006 2:39:29 PM It's dead now isn't it? Whales normally go inland to die. |
