Wednesday, July 26, 2006 2:43:41 PM And besides, how can you EVER hate the Cannon song even IF you play it a billion times? I've learned the full version on the piano with some harder parts added in and it's still very nice to hear. Can't wait to perform it. |

Thursday, December 22, 2005 2:15:40 AM For a long time, I couldn't put to words how great that clip was! Eventually I boiled it down to this:I am glad I wasted the absolute final kBs of my DSL bandwidth to watch it! ~Marvi the Arctic Cowgirl, reporting from her friend's PC |

Thursday, December 15, 2005 5:04:07 PM Pachelbel's Canon in D Major is my all0time fave piece of music and I thought for sure he was going to wreck it. It wasn't that bad!! Whatever he was playing along with changed chords part way through and it sounded kinda silly, but overall, I really liked. And, boy can that guy play! |

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 5:51:30 PM I couldn't see if there were hummbuckers on the guitar, but you're right that would give that sound. And yes it could be a backing track. I guess I just find it hard to believe that this guy is that good. That collection of videos supports how good this guy is though, so yes, this dude will be rocking arenas around the world before his days are through. I was skeptical, but I'm on board. |

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 5:16:53 PM Hey JumpFunk, trust me, I'm a bit of a virtuoso myself and "JerryC" is def. playing that song. If you were to check out his website then you'd see that yes he is playing an american strat, which wouldn't be able to deliverer pinch harmonics quite as well as in the song, but he has put in humbucking dimarzio pickups in the bridge position. Also about the fact that you hear drums and other guitars and you "can't see them" it's called a backing track, he's just playing over it, he even releases the backing track on the site for canon rock, also the tab for canon rock if any of you all have Guitar Pro... but seriously this guy's form is amazing and you should check out some of his other videos here Ian

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 3:44:23 PM if any1 wants da guitar tabs to this or mp3 version just ask me!! if want the guitar tabs to this u will need guitar pro bcoz its .gp4 format! to JumpFunk.. i dont know whether or not to agree with you, yeh ders fings that may seem like it is fake, yet there are many programs and hardware that you can plug into ur computer that allow lots of things to be possible... the drumming could have been made on guitar pro and the 2nd guitar as well! and he could have just added his own guitaring afterwards.... but aye who noes! |

Tuesday, December 13, 2005 9:23:11 AM It's not him playing. For the idiots who think he is playing...Namely this is likely Joe Satriani, sounds just like him. There are times the volume is changing on the guitar, yet he doesn't ever touch the knob. I know he could be using a pedal here, but add it to everything else. There are TWO guitars playing at times. Uh...drums? I don't see a drummer. The audio quality is very high. The video quality sucks. Obviously a recording. He is playing a strat, the guitar in the music sounds nothing like a strat. Anyone that plays guitar will notice that he isn't always playing what is being played. The video sync might affect it some, but he is missing a lot. Not to mention that there is no feedback or any sound that EVER comes out of the guitar other than perfectly produced notes. A pro wouldnt be that perfect. It's fake. He is probably learning the song and can play most of the easier stuff. So he can look good faking it. Great song and good air guitar.
