Saturday, November 26, 2005 5:01:18 AM Step 1: buy iron on transfers Step 2: Print board layout onto transfers with a laser printer Step 3: Clean an unetched pcb with fine sandpaper and acetone Step 4: Iron transfer onto clean pcb using high heat Step 5: Remove paper backing with water and patience. (A nylon dremel brush at low speed helps) Step 6: Fix any broken traces with a sharpie Step 7: Etch in ferric chloride Step 8: Clean any hand-drawn traces with a dremel and X-acto knife Step 9: DrillBam! Custom PCB with <$20 of supplies. //I like eagle from http://www.cadsoft.de/ to draw my boards. /// Yes it works |

Friday, November 25, 2005 7:19:31 PM i thought a circuit board might be something similar to bullitin boards, and you'd make one online and print it. lol, i'm pretty dumb!!!! |

Friday, November 25, 2005 6:49:06 PM I remember, several years ago, hearing about technology like this to be used in disposable cell phones, Instead of buying phone cards you'd buy a phone. Guess thats kinda obsolete now. When I read about it though the point seemed to be that it was very efficient and cost effective. They didn't really make that point here, But I guess rolling your PSP up in a tube is neat too. |
