Friday, November 04, 2005 1:48:08 PM A couple of the paths looked blocked by signs or carts. We have awesome bike paths here, through the mountains with beautiful scenery. |

Friday, November 04, 2005 12:26:33 PM Those bike paths look terrible. As an avid cyclist, there's no way in I could possibly get anything serious done there.Try taking that little zigzag at 25mph on a roadbike with tires as thick as your thumb. Oh well. They have car-issues, as well. Might as well walk. |

Friday, November 04, 2005 12:26:28 PM ^^ I concurr the tuk-tuks are quite the experience. Oh and the cyclists don't use the bike paths, they just use the road, along the with cars, tuk-tuks, motorbikes, mopeds... with 3 people sitting on the bike. |

Friday, November 04, 2005 11:49:04 AM ^^^^ By country, I'm referring to Thailand, not just the city of Bangkok. |

Friday, November 04, 2005 11:48:10 AM I was in Bangkok this past summer. Honestly, it was the scariest place to be in a car, never the less a tuk-tuk, which is essentially a motored tricycle that they use as taxi services. I nearly pissed myself a few times weaving in and out of traffic. Great country though, extremely nice people in general. |
