Saturday, December 31, 2005 10:35:00 PM I remember watching coverage of hurricane Katrina and Anderson Cooper was ou there. A huge gust of wind knocked both him and his camera man over and then the screen just went to white noise and it looked like Anderson died or something. They didn't get back to him for a few minutes. Scared the shat out of me. |

Monday, October 31, 2005 4:58:44 PM Why can't they just report the story from INSIDE? I don't think anyone will call Al Roker a sissy if he says "hey guys, maybe this isn't a good idea" |

Monday, October 31, 2005 4:41:06 AM It's all about the ratings. The media, just like any other business, is trying to make money. The higher the ratings, the more commercial spots want to advertise during your show. Don't buy in to their claims of "fair and unbiased reporting". They will spin and sensationalize (even put themselves in harm's way) to get you to watch. |

Sunday, October 30, 2005 6:28:18 PM I'm surprised nobody's complained that its the black guy who has to stand out in the hurricane, with the way they were claiming racism in the New Orleans floods. |
