"If you want to wear suits thats fine but don't tell me whats the "proper" way"

When you wear a suit there the general rules are based on how that kind of clothing was designed to look with other clothes. It has always been the style to show just a little shirt cuff while wearing a coat but it’s only important in a formal setting. I mean, why wear cufflinks to a wading if no one will ever see them? Now, not buttoning the last coat button is just so your coat doesn’t bunch in the front when you sit down. A lot of what they were saying in that film was that in the end it is up to you how you fit this stuff into your own style but it’s important to know the general idea behind dressy fashion. Even Trump was saying that he doesn’t follow all the rules. It’s just that any set of cloths have general things you don’t do with them. Would you wear a heavy flannel with swim trunks? How about a dress shirt and tie with jogging pants?

Donald trump makes suits? Meh yet another thing I wont buy from him I loathe him , he's so full of himself. The only change I would have had to the film would be to take away him and Sean combs , I dont know about anyone else but I cant stand them.Other than that great post wil be usefull when I buy my first suits for my career.

What a self indulgent sad shallow piece of film. Don't let antone tell you how to dress. If you want to wear suits thats fine but don't tell me whats the "proper" way. This is nothing more than Macys (or whatever) trying to seel their s@@@t.

Good link, I’ve been wearing suits as my normal business and private/casual style for something like ten years now so I already had a handle on a lot of that information. There were one or two tips I wasn’t familiar with though. The rubberbands to ensure your cuffs don’t slip for instance. Every girl I’ve been with in the past decade has always said the same thing; that they wish more guys dressed better. Most guys don’t even realize how affordable it really is. Plus, if the suit and shirt fit properly it’s actually a very comfortable way to dress.
