Tuesday, July 11, 2006 11:44:02 AM People fail to realize that it is the left knee that hit not the right. and a knee to the head comes at you with a lot more force because of the muscles involved. (think about it you can kick something much further than you can throw it more often than not) Very clean knee. And for those who question the reality of it all. It is about as fixed as boxing is.Take that where ever you want to go with it. |

Tuesday, September 13, 2005 11:17:20 PM Point taken, i just don't think it hit square enough to knock out a pro fighter |

Tuesday, September 13, 2005 10:56:08 PM theBSR, obviously it was solidly enough to land the opponent on his back. These guys are professional fighters, not street fighters, so I think they know what they're doing. |

Tuesday, September 13, 2005 4:50:50 PM Im a streetfighter born and raised in New York. And i know Bullpoo when I see it. The first angle looked like it was killer, but all the other views it looked as if there was little contact. To knock someone out you need to connect solidly in the right place, I did not see that in this clip |

Tuesday, September 13, 2005 4:27:21 PM You think these guys aren't disciplined and dedicated to their craft? You've got to be kidding. Just because they use the martial forms does not mean they are abusing them. The UFC is full of talented fighters, most of which are experts in several forms of martial arts and fighting styles. Don't badmouth what you don't understand. |

Tuesday, September 13, 2005 2:58:17 PM I think the fight was rigged. if you look closely, you see there is no solid contact with his head, his right knee hits his shoulder. You dont even have to look to hard to see it. Also, he holds his arms up, and if he was really knocked out they would be flat, like the rest of him |

UFC isn't fake, go watch it some time and then come back and tell me it's "acting." ---------------------------------------------Some of us aren't stupid enough to go and see this kind of rubbish. If I want to watch pretend fighting, I'll rent Kill Bill. If I want to watch real fighting, I'll go out on a Saturaday night to the city centre. You're naivity is sweet but you will thankfully grow out of it in time. P.S Even if it was real, how exactly would it be entertaining? As it stands it's pointless choreography, but if it were real, it would be mindless barbarism |

Monday, September 12, 2005 1:08:13 AM awesome. Who cares if some tae-bo-ho (thank you Nas) thinks his saturday afternoon karate class with middle-aged mothers of two is being desicrated by the UFC. The practice of martial arts can lead to enlightenment and "inner patience and peice(sic)". Mostly to better be in control of your body and its facilities to be a more effecient weapon. UFC is not a martial art in the same way that it is not boxing. It combines aspects and a backround in martial arts may come in handy in the octogon. UFC or full-contact fighting is it's own animal. A ruthless gladitorial sport where I get to watch 2 men try and knock each other out by any means neccesary. Oh - and it is definatly NOT faked. |

Sunday, September 11, 2005 9:48:14 PM Unless you're in the Matrix, grace in fighting does not count unless it serves to conserve your energy, confuse your opponent or is required for the effectiveness of your attacks; Period. |

Sunday, September 11, 2005 9:47:13 PM Wow! That was rad. Martial Arts is defending yourself in the quickest, most efficient and most effective way possible. This qualifies way beyond that; in fact, should serve as an example of the success of properly applying self-defense techniques. You can be as graceful as you want while you're getting your ass kicked... |
